Update: My wife completed her FP on schedule(they didn't even allow her to finish FP a couple of hours earlier!) Her RFE was (recd by CIS) Dec 8 2003.

BCIS has received my RFE materials (employement letter, tax forms for the past 2 year and paystubs for the past 2 months) on April 20, 2004 per online message. Hope I'll have the luck to be approved within 30 days!!

Case approved 20 days after USCIS received RFE material

My I-485 case got approved 20 days after RFE was received! (employment letter, 2 years tax forms and 2 months paystubs)

I guess most people will be approved within a month or so after RFE if they have a ND in the first couple of months of 2002 and had 2nd fingerprint cleared sometime this year.

to local office but thankfully ead was approved and mailed. atleast dont have to travel to local office for IEAD now.

RFE - Change of Job Title

Hi,

I received an RFE and they want a letter of employment from them.

MY job title has changed from Programmer/Analyst to Business Systems Analyst and I was wondering if that would make a difference or not.

I got a email from USCIS saying

On May 26, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.
 
Hi guys,
It looks like there has not been much activity on this thread for the last couple of months. I just hope and pray that CIS approves 485s quickly.

I applied and got an i-EAD at the Arlington, VA office (I had to stand in line since 6 am) on my 80th day after applying for my (3rd) EAD renewal online.

Then, on the 91st day the EAD message says it has been approved. I also got an email since I registed with CIS.

I continue to wait for I-485 approval, God willing it will happen soon.

My April 2002 case has been approved 4 months after an RFE. My wife's was 6 months after the RFE; approved the same day as mine.
