RFE on 485- Cases approved, please post ur experiences

Any body knows, where is assigned officer# on the RFE? May be we can use while callinng USCIS customer services. Thanks

congrats! Mine is almost identical but have NOT got approved yet !!! here are my details:
RFE date: 7/12/04
RFE details: Paystubs for last two month, emp letter, tax returns for 2002 & 2003.
RFE response date(when did you respond) 8/12/04
INS site update date (if you remember): 8/13/04
LUD: 8/18/04 AND 8/19/04
Approval date:???

So was there any LUD after 8/13/04 for you? what is your case i.e. is it AC21 did you change employer, location? was your pay greater or lesser than labor approval rate?

RFE: (EVL,w-2/taxes): 06/30/04 (4 days before expiry of FP1)
RFE reply recvd @ VSC: 8/11/04
FP2 notice: 8/20/04, scheduled for 9/10/04 (my guess the RFE resp triggerred FP2)

Hi All

INS issued the RFE on my case on 7th June 2004, I have received from my lawyer on 14th June 2004.

Details:

1.Marriage Certificate
2.All valid passport pages, I-94 and Visas
3.Successor of Interest

Replied.

INS updated the web site stating as follows:

Current Status:

On August 27, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 660 and 660 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

My RD Date for 485 is 03/28/2002. So far 3 EAD got approved. I am with the same employer since my GC is filed.

Why this status says 660 days. I heard that after you reply the RFE, you will get the reply in one month, is that true?

But they told you it will take less than 660 days - you don't have to worry.
 
after RFE response, if you GET 2nd FP means ...

after RFE response, if you 2nd FP means, is that means they are happy with your response and FP is to just cross check WITH FBI and and you are done?

In other words r u almost through?
 
I guess we have to do 2nd FP too.

I-485 Approved

Hi All,

I am very happy to announce that I-485 has been APPROVED for both of us today. LUD changed for both of us today and it never changed after the response to NOID. I can't beleive the online message and so I will be waiting for the approval notice in the next 14 days.

Hi, everyone: I wonder if anyone have samiliar experience:

I-140 AD 08/06/04
I-485 RFE (birth certificate) 08/18/04
I-485 RFE response received by USCIS at 08/27/04

Now, my LUD of I-485 changed 3 days in a row till 09/01/04. I wonder what that means? why they keep on changing LUD w/o change messages?

Also, is there anyone get more than mone one RFEs? or USCIS usually send one RFE asking for everything they need?

For those who got EVL, what they ask for in those letters?

The trend i know about RFE is that it will approve with in 20-40 days.
If its not approved with in that time,
wait until something is triggerred your application like address change, FP2 e.t.c. as it will go to back log and you will see new R.F.E responses getting approved.

Then it can be any time with in 6 months - 9 months.

Hi, In my case also I got same RFE ( I693 ) on same date. My reponse also went to INS on same date (08/18). Please update this forum if you receive any AD. Thanks,
