Hi, I need some help on my TN renews.
I hold 2 TNs at present, first one is of 1-year term, expire June 26th, 2009, second one is of 2-year term, expire January 1st, 2011. My Canadian Passport will expire May 26th, 2009. I am planning to renew by e-filing with supporting documents instead of by trip as I have been doing before.
1. Do I need to file both eI-129 and eI-539 ?
2. Do I have to renew my passport first ?
3. Could I renew both and make them the same start/expire dates for 3-year term ? if so, does this mean I have file everything twice, and pay 2 fees ?
4. Are the supporting documents the same as trip renew ? i.e., diploma and employment letter ? anything else ?

thanks
Your help will be appreciated.

1. You do not file I-539 for TN. The I-129 extends your status. You do need 2 I-129s.
2. No. You don't need a vaild passport to apply for TN.
3. Each I-129 will incur a fee. Only employers submitting multiple I-129s get a fee reduction.
4. The same.

Just curious..

Can you have two TNs at the same time? I mean, can you do multiple jobs (of course by having multiple TNs')?
