Hi Guys...
I was browsing the web looking for a good site to answer my questions regarding How to immigrate to USA through marriage and found this amazing site...hope will find my answers here...

My wife if a refugee in USA she has been there about 2 months...she already filed a petition on behalf of me to join here in USA...she received a notice recently that my application has been received already...

to tell the truth I have no idea about which form did she apply or which notice has she received? but she already applied for me to join here there as a refugee's husband.

could you please guys tell me how long does such situation take to be done and join my wife in USA? what are the stages that I should pass first??
and in case I joined here there..how long does it take me to get the green card? and how long does it take here to get the green card???
I really in need to know all of these information inorder to stay at the same country at the moment untill i receive anotice from the embassy for interviews or other procedures to be done....and not to change my work for now...

*we got married about 10 months ago and we don't have kids.

Thanks alot.

it depends on whether she is a refugee or a permanent resident based on refugee/asylee.

Unless you know exactly what her status is and what she filed for you, it'd be difficult to answer.

I'm sorry...but as I know she is a refugee taken by UNCHR to USA and now she has her work permit and she is applying for the driving license...

she doesn't have the green card yet....
and I think she filed the form I-730

waiting for your help guys.

thanks.

If she doesn't have a greencard yet and has been in the US for 2 months, I believe she has to get refugee status approved first. I'd suggest to ask in asylum section on this board.

Asylum/refugee rules are sometimes totally different from other category. To be a dependent beneficiary, you must have been married before she got a refugee status. If not, you fall into the regular family base category as a spouse of a permanent resident.. Big difference between these two cases for wait time.
You need the timeline very clear,
