Reentry Permit (Leaving after Filing But Came Back for Biometrics)

Hi guys,

I just want to know if I actually messed up with the reentry permit process.

I have read that you can come back for the biometrics after filing and received by USCIS.

1. Filed 21 April 2025.
2. USPS notifies me its received 22 April 2025. (but not USCIS)
3. Left USA 23 April 2025
4. I left and came back for biometrics but the I797C paper for biometrics was dated 2 May 2025, however on USCIS page it says
"April 22, 2025 We received your Form I-131, Application for Travel Documents, Parole Documents, and Arrival/Departure Records."

Is my reentry permit application doomed even though I did the biometrics?

If your NOA shows your application was received on April 22nd and you left the US on April 23rd, your application is fine. If it was the other way around as in you left on the 22nd and your NOA shows your application as received on the 23rd, the application would have been eventually denied.

Does it also update when the reentry permit is approved/denied?

To be clear, NOA is whatever I see on the USCIS' website's Case Status?
NOA in this case is the Notice of Acceptance receipt which typically gets mailed out as confirmation an application has been received, you may also see a copy of it in your USCIS account.
