EAD Approved (?) - RD 12/26/2001, ND 01/09/2002

Yesterday morning (12/21) our lawyer faxed the receipts for -485, EAD and AP. So last night I checked the AVM for the first time. For the EAD applications (me & my spouse), I got a message saying "On 01/21, after approving your application... cards have been ordered and they\'ll be mailed to you..."

I guess that means EAD has been approved (Isn\'t it? Please correct me...)

You are not alone

My MD is 12/21, no receipts yet while somebody on this board already had his EAD approved with same MD(!!). Attorney is not very responsive after getting paid. Am kicking myself every day for not filing the papers myself.

Has anyone tried finding out their status through IIO in VSC without the EAC#? Will they disclose such information?

I too had MD of 12/21 and yesterday my attorney faxed the receipts to me. And last night when I checked, my EAD was already approved. I think it\'s just the delay in mail... Also, due to the holidays season, there was a delay in reaching our applications to INS... my RD was 12/26. So I think it\'s just a matter of you knowing about your receipt #s. Hope you get them soon....

i don\'t know what happened to our cases? who is your lawyer in case if you feel difficulty in providing the name then you can at least tell me which area your lawyer was from (state)? it\'s kind of difficult to contact the lawyer especially after she said i need wait for 60 days. but my only concern is if INS lost my case that means i need to re send the entire application in that case i will be loosing 2 months . hope you have some info . from your side.

MD 12/17. RD 12/18, ND 1/3. EAD card has been ordered on 01/21

Just checked AVM, it says "On 01/21, after approving your application... cards have been ordered and they\'ll be mailed to you as soon as possible." I guess EAD is on the way.
