LUD question

Guys,

Did any of you see any LUD changes that coincided with these notices. The LUD on my wifes approved EAD changed on the 19th and 20th and the message changed from "This case has been approved ..." to "This case has been received for processing ...". Then we received this letter that was mailed on the 20th. Maybe this was a freak coincidence but I wanted to know if any of you saw any LUD changes on any of your apps around the 19th or 20th. I believe most of our letters were sent out on the 20th.

No change in LUD, no change in code (remains 3). Just talked to my attorney. He asked me to go there at 12 PM (original time) with both notices and believes that they will take our FP at that time and will not send us back (since he maintains the second notice is in error).

Based on everything that I have seen, we have decided to be there at 12 PM, and if they ask us to come back at 8 PM, we'll do that. Not really a big deal, could be worse. Good luck to everyone, let's compare notes after we go through this exercise.

So far it seems as if the code has changed from 3 to 2 for people who did early FP and nothing has changed for the people who have not completed early FP.

Can everyone please update their codes so we have a better idea.

I have not done FP early because the work schedule is tight and load is heavy.

The issue is the ATL office was over booked so the Vermont office was assisting but they were rescheduling. Disregard you have had your fingerprint appointment and you will not need to go again.

i still think this is a admin goof up - VSC must have issued letters for people who have still official dates pending - my lawyer's firm is quite big and they have contacted ASC and they said if you have doe fp no need to go again, i might just goand see for myself on the FP date - as with TSC u really do not know

Seems like an error

kabbu,

I do agree that this is an error on the part of either the VSC or the TSC but the best thing would be to show up there on the date. We cannot give these guys any excuse to delay our applications any further. Lets all be on the safe side.

Lets keep this exchange going. We will all get to the bottom of this next week.

The FP center will be open till 10:00PM (may close little earlier) from May 3rd onwards. I went to this location and found this out myself. So don't worry about the timing.



Everyone else;
The only thing that bothers me is that if they re-do the FP at this later date, we will be waiting more time compared to if they use the earlier FPs.
Well, I am hoping something would happen to the I485 application before the new FP date approaches.

Its futile to guess what may happen. If there is one thing I have learnt with my process its that anything and everything is possible. Lets just do as they tell us and then hope that our cases are processed properly. For all we know the FP center might just send us back because we have already completed our FPs.

Hi,
I have contacted my Lawyer and he said to check with FBI and if they have received and sent it back not to worry and ignore. I called to the FBI office and they said they have recived my FP on 3/30 and they sent it back on same day.

When is the LUD changing on I-485 after FP?
Is it after we done FP or after USCIS recives from FBI?

My LUD was changed on 3/31.

LUD changes

chr,

LUD changes after FP are very unpredictable. My LUD has not changed since FP. For some people the LUD changes while for others the LUD does not change even after the FP is received. Its all a big mess.
