First of all I want to thank everyone on this forum, you are doing a great job.

Mother (LPR) has sponsored daughter (unmarried with 2 children) the application is completed at NVC and is awaiting the next step, medical/interview.

Question :- She is never married but have children (who are included in the application) from a previous boy-friend, will this create a problem in the interview for her?

I really appreciate your help on this.

The mother is in the USA but the daughter is in Saudi Arabia.

Have kids in Saudi Arabia with a boyfriend....... Are you serious?
Do you believe US embassy in Saudi Arabia will be ok granting visa to a women who has two children supposedly out of wedlock in a country where women can't even drive or vote? Do you think they will buy your story? Forget them even I wouldn't buy it.
The consular officers are highly trained by Department of State and obviously have a higher IQ then I have and it will be hard if not impossible to fool them into believing this story.
They will clearly see that she is trying to benefit from the short visa wait of unmarried category while she is or was very well married and is lying about the marital status and this will quiet possibly bar her from getting any US visa ever under misrepresentation of material facts category.
US embassy is very well aware of the system in Saudi Arabia, forget having kids without getting married, in Saudi Arabia women having a extra marital affair will be stoned to death and the whole world knows that let alone the US embassy.
My advice don't even try it, update the petition telling the truth about marriage and kids it might take a little more time but it still will be better to be able to come to US late then never.
Now if you sponsored her while she was single and over the years she married have children and is divorced now she can still use the unmarried category as divorced are treated as single for immigration visa classification purposes so don't try to fool them and clearly explain the situation here to get a good advice.

Thanks Namecheckvictim for your input. It sounds and may be hard to believe but she is an expatriot working in Saudi Arabia (she is not a saudi) but she really is not married. I know how it sounds but take my word for it she is not married.

well, gee, I don't think it's going to bother the consular officer as much as it bothers you. As long as she is eligible otherwise - she'll get her visa.

Name,

As long as she IS NOT a Saudi, she can have children out of wedlock. Plus she's an expat, she is fine. I see your point though, laws in Saudi are tough and her story wouldn't have passed the smell test with US consular officers.

It doesn't bothers me one bit because i don't know her from Adam, so I care less, this was just a advice if she was Saudi.

To the OP if she is not Saudi and is a Western expat she will do just fine, the kids can be included in the existing petition without filing for another one.
