Question about mailing N-400 (confused)

Quick question. This may have already been answered but i cant really find a straight forward answer throughout the forum.

I was also arrested back in 2001 (a potato launcher). Looong story! 4 of us were in a truck, and my friend decided to shoot it at a house. I have here a CERTIFIED COPY from court stating that - there are NO criminal records in the office because it was a case where i was placed on probation with ARD (first time offence) and all records will be expunged.

Anyways, I have my N-400 filled out. Main question is DO I SEND IN THIS CERTIFIED note along with the N-400? Or do i bring them in for the interview only??

PLease help.
 
Bunta send a certified copy of the court disposition and have an extra certified copy with you at the time of the interview just in case. Now for USCIS "expunged" doesn't mean anything, but you are good since it was in 2001, long before your 5 year window.

So i guess, "paper clip" a certified copy of the disposition along with the N-400 form and mail it out??? Is that what im supposed to do?

Im not sure if i should just forget it for now, because i dnt want them to have more paperwork than what they need just to do the process. I figure i would just bring it in at the interview when the interview officer starts to question me about the arrest then ill show them the court disposition.

Yes paperclip the document with the N-400, if you read the guide they REQUIRE you send the certified copy with the application so do it and get another certified copy for the interview, it doesn't happen much but some cases here had the issue of the officer at the interview not having such copy even when they have sent it, don't ask me why haha, but you have to send it with the N-400.
 
I agree with Mimi except that a photocopy of certified court is sufficient with N-400 as long as you bring certified copy to interview. I know the guide/instructions may say otherwise, but it's not that crucial since you bring the certified document to interview.
