Processing time for green card based on asylum

has anyone here renewed their RTD? I mean applied for a new one? if traveling with your COP is risky as people say then can someone tell about their experience getting the new one? like how long in advance can you reapply  Thank you!
I traveled with cop and green card landed yesterday very smooth 3 mins all done and clear

Here it is, friends!
After 10 days since “We ordered your new card” notice showed up, I just got my precious in my mail box.

Timeline: Form I-485 Accepted on November 7 2023
August 2024: Request for Evidence (I did not send my exams with form I-485, which I recommend you all to do! Send your exams with your form!)
September 2024: RFE sent
October 2024: USCIS received RFE
November 10 2024: We ordered your new card
November 14 2024: We sent your new card
November 20 2024: Card was delivered
Hi Congrats! Please could you tell me the list of documents you sent with your form I-485?

Hi,

I submitted I485 8 Aug 2023 and case was updated to fingerprints were taken on 15 Aug 2023 and no updates after that. Its been more than 15 months. I checked with Emma and connected to a live agent she said nothing more is needed from me. Does anyone have similar experience, pls give me some advice on expediting the case.

Oh that’s cool! Some good news. Otherwise more you learn about the limitations, the sadder it becomes.
Actually I was afraid too but I asked the officer too he said no issues he want to make sure I don’t visit cop Any 3rd country is fine with cop passport not cop country

Thank you!
May 2023: Granted asylum

July 2023: I was reluctant to submit I-485 because of the one-year residency requirement. I only submitted I-131 and paid I-131 filing fee.
(Sep 2024: I received my RTD.)

Sep 2023: Since the stats showed the processing time for I-485 is more than a year, I submitted I-485 and paid I-485 filing fee.
(passed 1 year mark after being granted asylum, but still waiting for adjudication)

Oct 2024: I submitted I-131 for the second time because I know it will take more than a year. However, I didn't have to pay I-131 filing fee because my I-485 application is still pending. Please note that I submitted I-485 before a cut-off date as part of the fee increase. (Sorry I didn't recall the exact date). If you did file I-485 before that date but didn't file I-131 concurrently, you should do so to save the I-131 filing fee. After that date, you have to pay I-131 filing fee no matter what!
(still waiting)

I filed mine a month after yours and I am still waiting as well. I am worried too because people here and there who filed after us already got their green cards. There was even one guy who got their green card already on hand in less than a year after being granted asylum.

Frankly, it's perplexing how USCIS works. There seemed to be a pattern, but then again not! I want to have mine within 2024, but I think we only have to wait and see.
