Processing time for green card based on asylum

Hi good people, I wanted to find out if I will be restricted to travel especially to my home country if I get married to an asylee. My boyfriend was granted the asylum status and is waiting for his GC. We are hoping to get married after he gets his GC. We share the same nationality

Hi Everyone. Is there anyone here who filed for a green card in September 2023? Most of my friends who filed in December 2023 got their green cards but for me and one of my other friends who filed before them is still pending.

So i received my green card last week. The date of residence was before my interview date so I called USCIS and told them about my concern. They said that they cant cancel the notification and cant recall the card but upon my insistence they sent my inquiry to “Tier 2” at USCIS.
Today i got a reply from USCIS that they didnt find anything that they can do about and they are going to forward my case to National Benefits Center for further evaluation.

After 10 days since “We ordered your new card” notice showed up, I just got my precious in my mail box.

Timeline: Form I-485 Accepted on November 7 2023
August 2024: Request for Evidence (I did not send my exams with form I-485, which I recommend you all to do! Send your exams with your form!)
September 2024: RFE sent
October 2024: USCIS received RFE
November 10 2024: We ordered your new card
November 14 2024: We sent your new card
November 20 2024: Card was delivered
