Processing time for green card based on asylum

Did anyone receive an approval of green card after March 25? Some people keep saying that the applications has been paused and we need to know if anyone ever received approval after that date

That is not true. I know someone who got approved yesterday. However. I can't confirm or deny it was through asylum. But... Fingerprints were done in October 2024. Neither RFE nor Interview for sure.

nothing here shows if its based on asylum or or not and i guess he meant green cards through asylum!

That's why I said: "I can't confirm or deny it was through Asylum" but like you said, perhaps that was he meant.

We have to wait until anyone else from this group keep us up to date.

Hi, could you please check with the person if the green card approved was through asylum?

Based on my research, there have been a few green card approvals in the last few weeks. However, it seems like there has been a significant slowdown in the overall approval process. My wife also received a RFE a few days ago. Overall, it’s still unclear who is affected by the pause and who is not. I checked with Emma, and they said transferred my case from Tampa to Denver(my local field office) two weeks. I have been waiting for 14 months now.

I suspect people are getting approved but due to fear are keeping it private, also many people filed before their one year anniversary, so USCIS is actually doing them a favor by not quickly adjudicating, i filed after 8months and i just crossed my one year so i am very expectant!!!

I think you're right. All green card applications through the Asylum have been on hold for more than bast two weeks. Unfortunately, this is what I've noticed recently.

In the green card application, do we need to reveal minor traffic violations such as the ones classified as municipal ordinance (parking tickets, equipment violation, speeding tickets, etc.)?
If we need to, then how about if those violations were not listed in prior application (i.e., asylum application). If not revealing them was okay under previous administration, is it safe to not reveal them under current administration?

I do not know about parking tickets. However, the question is very clear (at least for the form I filed before they change it in 2025).

"Have you ever been arrested, cited, charged, or detained for any reason by any law enforcement official (including but not limited to any US immigration official or any official of the US armed forces or U.S coast gaurd?"

When you get pulled over by the police, you are being detained and not free to go. Even if it is a speeding ticket.

I personally answer YES and I added the details in the supplemental sheet with the appropriate documentation. Yes! Even for a speeding ticket.

Also, I don't know what's your situation. But I applied in 2015 and got approved in 2024. My first and only one ticket in 9+years was in 2019.

His receipt number start with MSC, can we say that it indicates he has asylum based applications? I also have my case start with MSC.

Mine also starts with MSC, I'm in MO. Are you also in MO?
No I’m not, but I found an answer from AI: A USCIS I-485 receipt number that starts with "MSC" means that the case is being processed at the National Benefits Center (NBC)—formerly called the Missouri Service Center.

However, MSC does not by itself indicate that the I-485 is asylum-based

Could you please say where you live?

Asylum-based I-485 applications are typically mailed to a USCIS Lockbox, which then forwards them to the National Benefits Center (NBC) for initial processing.

NBC handles most asylum-based green card applications, including:

Background/security checks
Pre-processing steps
Transferring to a local USCIS Field Office for interview (if needed)
