I believe there was an issue with your RFE. What is your petition based?

There is no reason to be requested an evidence based on asylum besides a medical RFE. As you said you sent them one a guess there is an issue with primary RFE. Just wait the request and keep us in loop

Here it is. It's been 3 years.
September 1, 2023 Case Was Approved
June 9, 2023 We sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
October 26, 2020 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, were taken.
October 5, 2020 We received your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.

Congratulations. How long did it take from the time they received your medical exam RFE to finial approval?
Thanks! It took 3 weeks.
I'd like to share my good news here.
A year later after application, my case was approved and a card was issued.
Here is my timeline.
— April 2021. Original case approved.
— May 2022. I sent and USCIS received my form I-485 (together with medical examination).
— June 2022. USCIS charged fee on my credit card. Biometrics reused.
— May 2023. My case approved. Card mailed to me (in 2 days after approval).
My card one year backdated.
I wish everyone here patience and good luck!

Could someone please share how to file the I-485 based on asylum? what kind of documents do I have to file? I'm trying to read the instructions but with no results. There is so much information in there. Is it better to send the info about your credit card or it is better to send a check? Another question is, I am applying for me and my family (my wife and 2 kids). Do I have to send the fee per each family member, or I can send only $1044 for me?

I thought it’s $1225!
I believe you are right. There is a fee for $1140 and for biometrics $85
Yes I paid 1225 for my aos application
