Processing time for green card based on asylum

Do I have to pay per each family member in the application or not? I have wife and 12 y/o son and 3 y/o daughter. they are applying with me in that application

Why do you need expedite request for Green Card. Usually, Asylum based green cards, expedited request not valid. They don't accept.

You have to pay fee for each member of your family. However, these is a fee waiver options available for different kind of applicants. You can read that section and if you fall under any category, you fee will be waived. For documents see I485 instructions, everything is mentioned therein.

Find an attorney to file application, I know it's expensive($2K per person) but we don't want to take risk.

Hello, I hope you read my message and can help me with my question please, I filled I-730 for my husband who is living in Germany on March 2023 and today I received a letter from USCIS which is Request for Evidence, they are asking for his Birth Certificate and my Asylum Application ( not Asylum Approval), I dont know if it is normal and how long it will take for approval after sending the EFE?

March 2023 and already asking for Rfe this is fast process. Send the stamped form of your asylum application and the translated birth certificate of your husband it took then 32 days after receiving the Rfe to make the decision

Thank you so much for your fast response and I really appreciate it, now I check that I applied in April not March, I will do what you said so quick and I don't know if he will be there with us and kids within next 6 months, we did not see each other for almost 5 years and your positive response means alot to me.
 
Hello everyone

I got a notification from USCIS that my kids need to submit medical exam. The notification was just for my kids. It does not include my wife and I.

I sent the medical exams for all of us.

Yesterday, my kids got their green cards, but my wife and I got nothing.

Anyone has any idea if this normal, or should I contact a lawyer?

Hello - first time for me to hear that. Which one is your processing center/field office and what is your timeline? Additionally, when you check online does it say RFE received or fingerprints taken for you two? I hope you will get it.
 
Hi all,
I applied for my I-485 on August 8th 2023.
I'm prepping on sending my RTD form this week or the next.
Do I need to re send supporting documents for the RTD applications?
(Like a copy of an official photo identity document & proof of asylum status)
or
Does sending a copy of my I-485 receipt along with the I-131 form is sufficient?
 
Hello guys

Does anyone happened that their asylum based greencard backdated less time?
I was granted asylum febuary 2020
I applied greencard exactly one year later febuary 2021
It was pending since then , then on june 2023 they sent me to redo the medical it has expired since it was two years since from the date i submitted.

My greencard was approved august 2023. They backdated residence since august 2022. Which means i lost 3 years of time. So what do you think guys should i do? Since i was granted my aslum on 2020 i though they will back date to 2020 but the process of the gc took almost 3 years which they didnt count for me. Can something be done about it? Thank you

They backdate it from the time it’s approved
