Priority date??????????

Hello, im teddy from the philippines,

I would like to inquire regarding the case status of my wifes petition. I've to to USCIS but my quiry was not replied.

My wife Sheilah was petioned by her mother who is an american citizen living in Florida. She was petitioned as F1, but my concern is not the changing of status to F3 but the priority dates. Her mother is no longer communicating with her.

I have friends who already left who were petitioned last 1995 whereas my wife was petitioned 1996.

How long will she wait? what's the actual date of those petioned as F1?

Any help you can provide will be a matter of great significance.

Since your wife is married she will come only under F3. Priority date is 1 Sep 90.
So, it may take another 15 years before your 1996 date will current.

Philipine is a curse country as far as priority date goes, try some other avenue, if you are Registered nurse there is good opportunity to migratre with in 1 to 2 years.Teddy B. delos Santos, RN

But F3 is now processing april1990, should'nt my wife be included to that date. Both F3 and F1 are processing 1990, why would she wait another 15 years? That's very very sad.

Yes great guru, but 1-2 years is impossible, we don't give NCLEX here, you have to go to Saipan and Hong Kong to take the exam, if you failed you go back to square one.

I'm a nurse but we are badly salaried here in the Philippines, I don't have money for plane fare and exam fees. I guess i have to wait.

What if she will stay as F1, according to the law, F1 petitioned can already bring their children.

Never mined myself, i just wan't them to have a decent life, will the embassy allow her F1 to proceed if they found out during interview she's already married?

You can not lie that you wife is not married. It will affect you future immigration.

I've never realized it until you said it. Yes that's gonna be a big problem, thanks for the advise. In fact we tried to reach my wifes mother in Florida but she's not around (maybe she's had another family) that's why she's afraid to communicate. She's not even responding to e-mail. It's been 15 years and the last call she had made in the philippines was 5 years ago.
