Really no secrets. But it was a great experience.

I had totally given up the hope when I came to know about the regression on Dec 10th 2004. But on Dec 13th I was told that my LC was cleared. 7 days I religiously worked on sending the papers to the attorney. Something I would ever remember. All happened only because of the co-operation of my Employer and Attorney who even worked on weekends to prepare the papers. Me, my attorney and my employer are at 3 different timezones. A special thanks to FedEx Priority Overnight for being so prompt.

I485 Approved ... Jan 28, 2005 RD EB2

Hi Folks,

My I485 case approved an hour ago. I got those two magic emails at 1:00 pm EST. It is a great relief.

I wish all the people waiting for green card should receive soon.

Finally after 5 yrs of processing i got my GC Approved, got my welcome notice on friday. Details below.

EB2 VSC
LC Receipt date OCT, 2001 Approved on OCT , 2003 NJ
I140 ND DEC, 2003
I140 AD May, 2005
I485 ND JAN 7th, 2005
765 AD APR 04, 2005
131 AD APR 13, 2005

FP ND Feb 28, 2005 FP done on APR 14th, 2005
I485 AD MAY 27, 2005
 
485 Approved Today

I recevied the magic mails from USCIS for both of us, saying that:

"
Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

On June 6, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

Guess that the lengthy and painful GC process is finally at its end. According to the email and information posted on the USCIS website for our cases, my guess is that we don't need to be interviewed or getting Passport stamp before receiving a real plastic card???

Hi,

Me and my wife's I-485 got approved on May 31st.The green card was mailed on June 4th and we got the green card on June 6th !!!

The whole process was really fast as mine was a labor substitution case.

Here are my details

EB2 Substitute labor ( PA )
I140/485/EAD/AP file date: Dec 21st 2004
EAD approved : Jan 19th 2005
AP approved : Jan 19th 2005
I-140 approved : Feb 15th 2005
FP done: April 12th 2005
I-485 approved :May 31st 2005

This forum has helped us a lot in getting information about various stages of Green card.

Same here. My spouse's 485 was approved yesterday, and today her card was ordered.
I, primary applicant, have been approved in April, and went to PS (passport stamp).
I don't know if she has to go to PS even after she will get her card.
I know some people had same experience, but I can not find their thread.

485 Approved Today

I received the approval e-mails this evening….relieved but not joyful (it is difficult after three years of mental agony)

Thanks to Rajiv Khanna for this great service to immigrants. This forum has been helping me since my arrival in US…from J1 -> H1 -> Green Card. I also extend my gratitude to all of you for proving valuable information in this forum.

My best wishes and prayers for everyone waiting for the approval…you too will get the approval soon.

I applied through EB1-EA category, which does not require labor certification process.

I-485 Approved 6/13, but I-140 still pending?????

Yesterday, I got the news that I have been waiting for for many years:

HOWEVER, status of I-140 is still pending???

Finally, I got approval for my 485. It was approved on June 11th. RD was Aug 19 2004. FP 3/31/05. LUD changes 3/31, 4/1, 4/12, 4/21 and 6/13.

My 485 along with spouse approved today. I got those emails from INS an hour ago.
Mine is a EB2- Labor substitution case.

Lud Change 4/20/05
After that no LUD change.

Hope all the people waiting will get soon.
