Approved, waiting for card
Here are my details, my I485 (EAC03088*****) was approved 06/01 and PPS at Phila 06/17. No change in web-message status as yet. Does anyone know when to expect plastic card? The Immigration Official mentioned it could take up to 12 months!!

I-485 approved (RD Feb 2005)
I received the "card ordered" emails for both my wife and myself today.
Neither of us ever got the "Fingerprints received" message: we had a few LUD changes on the I-485, but the message remained "we received you application...", until it changed to "card ordered" today. (see signature for details)

Finally approved. Got 26 magic emails yesterday evening (07/01/2005) saying that my 485 has been approved on june 30th both for me as well as my spouse & my cards have been ordered

I-140 receipt date :feb 15th 2005
I-140 approved date: feb 28th 2005

Case transferred to local office on 11/19/2004
Interview - 3/22/2005
RFE at the time of interview.
RFE replied on 4/4/2005
Approval date: 6/6/2005
Card ordered - 6/15/2005
PP Stamped - 6/21/2005
Card received - 7/1/2005.
But interestingly, the status online still shows - that my case was transferred to the local office on Nov 19, 2004 and I will be notified by the local office when a decision has been made....
No email received from the INS regarding the approval.
My EAD was due for approval which I filed on June 17th. Just before mailing the papers, i had called the local office to find out the current status. Although the case was approved on June 6th, they didnt give me any update. I visited the local office on 21st to speak to an immigration officer to get an update and was told that the case has already been approved, the lady at the counter stamped my passport.
After few days I received I-797 - for the EAD filed
Welcome to the world of INS - guys, if your status online is updated dont think that nothing is happening in your case - it is that uscis.gov website is not being updated regularly which they used to do earlier....

Philadephia Office PPS
Hi adi999,
Philadelphia office PPS was a breeze. In and out in 10 minutes. Take all past EAD cards and AP documents. No problems. Arrive in time for your Infopass appointment and you will be fine. Good luck. I am still waiting for my card though!

I also have a similar pattern with yours. We all filed in Aug 2004, and according to the processing dates they just posted today, they should be working on our files now. (if those dates really mean anything)
Let's hope we all get our approvals soon.

Regional NY Sept. 2004 with one RFE on prevailing wage which we were already met on previous year.
I140 + I 485 concurrent filing with RD Nov. 09 2004
For I140 RFE for degree evaluation for MS (Canada) and Ph.D (Australia) on Feb 23, 2005. Replied in early April and forgot to submit transcripts.
Second RFE for transcripts on May 24, 2005 Replied on early June 01, 2005.
Approved I140 + I485 on June 28, 2005.
Note that I 485 was approved without a non availability of birth certificate. I had only an affidavit (at the time of concurrent filing) from my mother which she done for my brother in 1987 for his green card. Indian embassy, NY will not give me a birth certificate since I was holding a Canadian Passport. Later I managed to get a non availability birth certificate from the town municipality and additional affidavits from India but my attorney suggested to wait for the RFE, which never came.
In addition, I was in Nova Scotia, Canada for the 4th July weekend thinking that approval will happen only in the next fiscal year (since EB3 was closed on July 01, 2005). I reentered with my H1B instead of the advance parole on July 06, 2005. I saw the approval when I returned from Canada. I have an appointment for stamping, finger printing, photos, ..etc at Newark on July 21, 2005. No emails or system updates yet. On the internet it still shows processing I485 and will contact when approved. Attorney received both the approval notices. My employer received I 140 approval notice.
We are a small company with 5 employees. All US citizens except myself and we work on US Defense R & D. Majority of our work requires US citizenship. Finally what a relief!

When would be my turn for I-485 approval?
I am anxiously waiting for my I-485 approval. What I really worry about is the name check, since it could take years to complete.
