Dec,2003 I-485 case approved

Self and wife I-485 got approved yesterday. Daughter case
is still pending.

Here is my details

PD Date : Dec,15,2001
Concurrent Filing I-140 and I-485
Receipt Notice Dt : Dec,3,2003
I-140 Approval Dt : Jan,10,2004
FP - Nov, 2004 ( But online status never changed until approval)
Applied for 2nd Advance Parole on Feb,2005
I-485 Approval Dt : Mar,9,2005
No RFE.
Initiated a enquiry on my case on Mar,8,2005, since current
processing date is : Jan,29,2004.

I believe either my advance parole application or status inquiry
triggered my approval.

FP :02/26/05 Got notice from VSC just one week before. I guess, FP review on 485 triggered my 140 case too.
 
Looks like my 485 will get approved soon!

Noticed that your 485 AD is only 2 weeks away from your FP. My FP was done on 03/04/2005, 8 days later than yours. So if I am as lucky as you, I would get approved on coming Wednesday? :p

AC-21 Case approved after RFE – ND – 9/17/2003

Hi All,

First Thanks for all valuable inputs from folks like Ginnu, hmd and many others.

My case was approved on 10th March 2005. There was a twist and churn in processing after I changed my job using AC-21 in July 2004.

My previous employer’s lawyer withdrew himself from the case and sent letter to INS. I had to hire my own lawyer and submit G-28.

I submitted AC-21 letter voluntarily after my new lawyer advised me to do so. In spite of that got RFE in Dec. 2004. Replied it and then kept waiting until last Friday.

The period just after changing job and employer was most stressful. Had to take risk and it was for the whole family. But Thank God, every thing went well and all my family’s GC is approved today.

Thanks once again to Rajiv and all Forum moderators, members for their guidance.
 
My case approved on 3/14.

My friend's 485 also approved yesterday
His 485/140 applied: March 19, 2004
140 approved: Dec 2004
485 RFE received: Jan 2005
RFE responce received: Feb 9, 2005
485 Approved: March 17, 2005.
His wife's also approved yesterday.

I received 4 emails with 2 different messages
The first email came at 6:00 pm EST
The last email came at 8:05 pm EST

Message on first 2 emails:
"This case has been approved. On March 21, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

Message on last 2 emails:
"On March 21, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."
