Plastic Card Tracker

Plastic card delivery address

Guys

This is my first day and first msg post here.
I got stamped in SFO last week and my wife Yesterday. As I move from place to place (so far lawyer gets all the docs and sends them to me), and apparantly i can't give the lawyer's address for the card, I gave my friends' home address for card delivery. I just wrote this new address on the I551 approval notice and gave it to the officer at the time of stmaping.

Would there be any issues with this? Should i do anything more in terms of sending an AR-11 or address change fax letter to CSC etc.

Let me know, what yall think.

Thanks in advance (Kindly some one respond please)

rk4gc,

Glad to hear that! :) Just a matter of 2 weeks now and you will be DONE! I am looking forward to opening my mailbox in the next couple of days.

But we must get back on the plans we discussed over our last meeting.

Well sure yes,
I've been tied up at work as we have a GA going on. But will start breathing soon. So lets plan for the next step.

An End To Green Card Saga -- rk4gc

Received cards today. I'm glad this Green Card fever is over.

Its a long journey. With lots of ups and downs. Filled with all kind of emotions.
On the way I've made friends and of course a strong foe (CIS :)).

Started using immigrationportal.com from Apr 2003 and got addicted. From the forum members I understood how bad the CIS is with backlogs and joined other CORE group members to fight for backlogs reduction.

At the same time Kashmir started his backlog reduction projects, attending town hall meetings and fax campaigns. I started faxing, attending town hall meetings and actively started participating in CORE team, which eventually become immigraitonportal.org.

Rajiv's lawsuit is another great effort to reduce backlogs and I feel lucky to be part of this effort. I wish we will have a definitive result from this law suit. btw, it seems in few weeks we will know whether the lawsuit is going to be a class action or not. Please check "COMPLAINT" forum.

Well I cannot mention all the names but I would like to some names here those who either inspired me or supported me in this journey.

Many thanks to 140_takes_4_ever, dsatish, edision, Kashmir, rajum, ip.org members, CSC I-485 mailing list members, open scanning members and others.

Good luck to you all.

Delay of getting green card

My wife and kid got their green card already but I haven't got the green card yet and status shows I-488 approval, not about green card yet. Is this OK? Anybody has a similar experience?

Well, none of it makes any sense - you just have to send in the right number of forms...
