Plastic Card Tracker

Checked mail last night. Got our plastic cards. Interestingly, expiry date is 10 years from card ordered date and permenant residence date is about a week before the approval date....Online status still reads card ordered on the 17th... Happy that this is over...

Plastic card and address

Folks,

The online status for my GC says,

"On August 5, 2004, the card or document we had mailed to the applicant was returned by the post office because they could not deliver it. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

It looks like CIS sent my plastic card to the old address and it returned back to them. I called the customer service twice (with a long wait), once on 08/06 and again on 08/10 and updated my address (i actually sent the AR-11 form '2' years back when i changed my address, but apparently they didn't update it in their system) and requested them to resend the card to the correct address. Also my lawyer sent a FAX inquiry on 08/17, but without any response to date.

what should i do now? did anyone had a similiar experience? If so, what did you do? Appreciate your response.
 
Received plastic cards. Both were posted on 17th aug. Website says it was sent on 19th Aug. My wife received hers on 20th and I received it today Aug 24th.

Long journey comes to an end.

stamped 7/8 in SJ, no updates after that for primary

Both primary and derivative got stamped on 7/8 in San Jose. USCIS status page still shows aplication approved on 6/30 ...blah blah blah..for the primary applicant :(
Derivative's status shows card has been ordered and will be mailed when ready
Any body in the same boat out there? Can we call some number or inquire about this?

My Wife and I just received our actual cards on the mail on Aug 14.
I now feel this is actually over!! :)
