My wife and I got our passport stamp together at San jose. I have received my card abt 3-4 days back but no activities for my wife. Status still shows the I-485 approval message.

Should I wait or contact somebody. but whom??

I'm in the same boat... My wife has got her card (after two online status updates) but there has been no activity on my case :(

Waiting....

Card Received

Hi,

Just received my card! The details:

AD: 01/03/05
PS: 01/14/05
CO: 01/25/05
CM: 01/28/05
CR: 02/02/05

My passport was stamped too yesterday. However the stamp looks quite "plain" compared to the H1 visa. I was hoping to see atleast the country name or something like it is issued by the govt. What do you think??
Also did they cancel/void the H1 visa on the passport? They dint do any such thing for me

Is you wife a primary applicant ?? In that case we can assume primary applicant gets it first.

Hurrican bay,
My approval letter dated 19th JAN. How did you know when your file got to CIS and when they ordered the GC? My online message did not change.

How to track where the file is?

CGcountdown & aneagleseyes,

I got this message "your I485 Application to Register Permanent
Residence or to Adjust Status was received here for processing. It is taking
between 660 and 660 days for us to process this kind of case. We will
mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete" although my case was approved after interview. I came to know that this message means that the file got transferred back to CSC from local office. After this message I got 3 more messages - "process completed", "card orderd" and "card mailed".
