Philadelphia Transfer Cases

Hi everyone, I just sent my letter to senator yesterday, and I’m assuming that it will take some time for them to respond (or take some action, if at all they do). I will definitely try calling the AOS line number, than Bamba gave us, maybe this will help. Thanks for providing us will this number Bamba, other than that I really don’t know what would be the next step to get our approval letters. Keep up posted with your news Bamba.

well, nothing in the mail today and this is plain torture. I am a nervous wreck at this point...j_j2001 I think you are right about letters being sent by another department. The message said that "he reviewed our cases and it looks like you are getting something in the mail (if you already not received yet), something should have been already sent to you; your file has been moved to a different location from where it was before and you should receive in a next couple of days." that's almost the entire message. does not specify what it is (approval/denial) i guess it lets me hang by a thread for the next couple of days.....:((
 
yes, it's funny, three of us(nervous）are all online, nina_c, i did make a phone call use the number bamba gave us, it's a record let u leave A-number and daytime phone number, i did leave all the things they need, then wait when they will call.
 
bamba, dont worry, i think it's the approval letter they sent to u , it's nice to know they have made an decision for u, not like what u worried about a day before, u know what i think, maybe our cases are in the other department(writing letters) together, i know it's just a wish, maybe we can get letters together, but thinking of this make me feel much better, haha.

let's hope so...tomorrow's another day and another chance of opening that mailbox to see those two letters that we've been waiting for so long! i'll keep you posted!
 
Hi everyone, I called the AOS number too and left them a detailed message; we’ll see what happens. I wonder if it’s possible to get in touch with the officer who interviewed me, that would be the easiest way to solve this dilemma J… I sincerely hope that this tough ordeal will end soon for all of us.

hi, still no news for me, i started hate the opening mailbox stuff, everytime makes me disappointed, no news for nina_c, where is bamba? did u get ur approval letter? maybe went to celebrate? come on, let us know!
 
NOOOOOOO, nothing today...luckily I wasn't the one to open the mailbox or I would have cried the entire day, I became a wreck in the last couple of days...can't sleep, can't eat, I am a zombie at work...I hate this wait!!!! How many days does it take for a letter from Philly to get here? I am only 100 miles away...I could've picked up the damn letter in person....
 
i dont know we can pick up the letter or not, if we can, i'd rather drive 1.5hours there, i live almost 60-70 miles from philly, but everytime we went there, we should spend 2 hours because of the traffic, i know ur feeling, because i feel the same.
i read ny thread, one has been interviewed in OCT. and receive a second interview notice, and went there yesterday, the officer was not nice, and told her will mail her the decision, dont know what will happen! this really scared me.

i saw that post...i think they would have said something to you when you went to Philly if they wanted you for another interview...but they didn't mention anything...the lady actually advised you not to renew your EAD because you won't need it once you have GC, right? so that has to be a good sign!
 
did they take the I94 from you at the interview? they didn't take mine...i wonder what does that mean?
 
they took them from everybody or just some? were some of them approved? or what does that mean? that's strange...i just checked mine one more time and i still have them
