Its much more than anxiety. Its frustration, a high degree test of patience. It just seems so absurd, no one is even taking note of this absurdity from AILA community. There is no mention of the same in AILA updates or anyone in immigration lawyer community on this issue. No one seems 2 b complaining.
Its so very unfair.

1. There were 10 DOL employees before all employed in BRC now.
2. In total there will be 120 employee in the BRC center (12 times more).
3. The letters would be sent sometime next week (haven't we heard that before, this would be a question for next week)
4. The procedure for approval is same, no new process so no time saving there.
5. They might be hirirng few more ppl (and then the total will be 120), these would be fed employees.
6. It is expected to be slow in the first few (week/months/year pick your fancy) as it will take time to train new people (didn't we hear that the reason there was no work at Phily DOL because they were training).
7.It is not sure, who's application will be picked first, earlier state or federal date.
8.Question for next week - (In fact this is the question I asked but got the above response) - Are there any other regional DOL application with Phili DOL and in what order they will be processed.

I think what Akela means is:
1. There were 10 DOL employees previously working on cases - they are part of the BRC now.
7. They have not decided on whether they are going to process according to the earliest state receipt/approval dates vs DOL receipt date.
8. There might be other DOLs and not just Philly DOL whose cases are going to be processed by the BRC.
I have an urgent plea to make to those of you who have the BRC phone number - let us make an effort on this forum to co-ordinate the phone calls. Right now, we have a very small window into the BRC's operations thanks to one or two people who are answering the phone over there. If too many people start calling, we are probably going to lose that window and that will lead to many more weeks/months spent in limbo wondering about what is hapenning to our application. I for one, plan to read the weekly update that volunteers (Tomshu, Akela etc) are providing on this forum, and I hope that this will work out for the rest of you as well.
Hope I have not offended anybody.
Best Regards,

There were grand total of 10 ppl working in Phily DOL before, now going forward there would be 120. (and I guess all those 10 folks are part of BRC).
Point 7 is, if someone had an earlier state filing date compared to when it reached Phili DOL, he might be picked first (but not yet decided).
Point 8 is there are rumours that Phily DOL is handling cases from other DOL, I could not ask and confirm it, if this rumour is true, what is the processing order, does Phily DoL go first.
The last point, what is the logic that if Bush wins the staff and budgeted money will be withdrawn?
Can anyone shed light on this.
