we got 3 LC approved, the details are as follows:

send to DE SESA: Aug 22,2002
approved by SESA: last week of OCt 2002
Recd by DOL: 2 cases on 11/13/2002 and one on 12/18/2002
approved on : one case on 2/12/03 and second on 3/21/03 and third on 3/26/03

all under RIR E2
2 were of computer consultant and one is of Financial Analyst.

I checked my case status in automated voice system.(ph no.215-861-5286)my case was sent from VASESA on 03/18/2003.DOL Phil recieved on 03/21/2003

Congratulations.May I request you to post the documents and info needed to file 140,485,EAD,AP which will indeed be of great help to people in the queue and can keep ready all those requiered and save time?

RIR LC reject

Bad news though but here is an update on my case. My RIR application got denied and now my company says it becomes a regular non RIR case. Infact most of the RIR's are getting denied from my company though we didnt have any layoffs.
My labour was sent to state dept on aug 2nd 2002

Case was transferred to DOL on jan 2nd

DW PD: 08/02/2002
DW SESA to Philly DOL : 01/02/2003
RIR Denied : 03/21/2003

Now my company says they will have to place another ad and respond to DOL.

Has any body got approval after RIR is denied?
Please share your experience.

Are you sure it was received by Philly DOL in February, not January? It makes the processing time less than 2 months, but everithing before was about 3 months.
Could you please clarify this.

Yes it is two cases of my co approved with same rec date and approve date

Did they got any rfe/nof from dol before approving the cases, because mine also is software engg position in eb2 rir got nof. so i have to reply it back to them.
 
What to do next?

Hi folks -

I am looking for some guidance in this forum.

I was recently contacted by my lawyer that my Labor certification has been approved and my case is ready for I-140 and 485 processing. However, I am not sure what should I opt for : consular processing or parallel processing of 140 and 485.

I am employed in VA which means ( if I'm not wrong) that the processing centre will be Vermont. However, Vermont centre is still processing cases from April 2002. This means another painful delay.

I have been told that generally consular processing is much faster. Also if I go for parallel processing, I won't have flexibility to leave the travel outside of the country. This is one thing I can't afford to do.

Pls suggest.

Just got the word that my case has been CERTIFIED!

EB3 RIR Virginia
sent to Philly DOL Sept 3, 2002
remanded to employer on march 21 2003
certified on 4/4/2003

Another of my co workers were certified the end of march as well!
his also was an EB3 RIR Virginia
 
did you got the NOF from dol before your case was approved on 04/04/04? what did your employer did when it was remanded to him?
