:confused: What's AVM and which number to call and how to verify the status of the application, Curious to know how it works.
My application moved to Philly on 8/18.

avm no always engaged

i tried the no 215 861 5286. Its always engaged. Is it the right no or there is some other no to track Federal Labor at Philadelphia

philly DOL-notice of findings.

I called the philly telephone line
It said that I have been issued a notice of findings.
Can anyone clarify

CERTIFIED...THE ETERNAL WAIT

HELLO ALL....

Called the AVM today and head the usual flow of message "Case number.......with dot code of .....was received in the regional office on...". I was about to hangup the phone...but for a second I could not believe my ears...."THIS CASE HAS BEEN CERTIFIED!!!!!". Checked again... It is true.

It was a long wait for 1 Year, 7 Months, and 27 Days...Not a day passed by without thinking about this GC stuff. I know its not all over yet. Anything could happen in next steps of the GC processing but the first major milestone is over.

Thank you all for hanging in here with me on the same boat.

Wish best of luck to all in this forum waiting for their LABOR certification.

See you in 140 forum...

congrats gcpenny......wish u all the best in 140 forum. i am not sure about my case. it still says it has been recieved. checked it about 10 mins back. cases after me are also approved.

i am keeping my fingers crossed. guys wish me good luck.

Still waiting to get approved...

I am still waiting to get approved, my receipt date is way back on 5/27/03. Initially I thought those labors with DOT codes 039.162-010 are getting delayed, but after hearing from gcpenny that his labor got cleared, that doesn't seem to be true anymore. I have only one person in front of me whose labor is not yet approved and that is lssd

Hope mine will get cleared atleast by the end of this week :(

How to get case num

My case was gone to DOL Philly for SESA DE somewhere in end of july. I am not able to get any information from AVM by employers phone number.

How do I get my case number? When a case is cleared from SESA and go to DOL does SESA or DOL advise the lawyer with case num ......... Pl. help

Hi guys,
Finally my labor has been certified.
Pittsburgh received date - July 10, 2002
Philly DOL received date -- Nov 25, 2002

Certified Aug, 26, 2003.

My attorney received the approval copy today Aug, 29, 2003.

My case is Regular(NON RIR).

My case was transferred from Delaware SESA to Philadelphia DOL on Augest 18th 2003

DE SESA - Oct 31st 2002
Philly DOl - June 24th 2003
Certified - Aug 29th 2003

phew.....this has been a long journey. i was so tensed up yesterday as i was checking the AVM and cases before me were remanded to employer, one case was rejected and one was issued a NOF.

but finally my got cleared and i am feeling so relaxed now. thanks a lot guys for your continious support. i am sure that everyoen will be coming out with flying colors. all the best and see u guys in 140 and 485 forum

Congratulation all, whose Labor got Approved!!!.
I am kind of worried about my case. Details are below.

Case No. 033918xx

WV SESA - FEB 25th 2003
Philly DOL - June 11 2003
Status - Pending DOL Labor

Labor got approved whose Receipt date after June 11, but mine is still pending. Can anybody give some comments on this.

Any comments/suggetion is highly appreciated.

DOL approval from Phily

How do you guys track the approval status from DOL?
mine is also the same date as that of Vicky.
I know that mine has gone from VEC to Phily on 23rd June 2003.
My code no is same as that of Vicky which is 030-162-014
I havn't heard anything from my lawyer, so I am jsut anxious.
Could you please provide me a phone number if there is any to track from DOL phily?

My case was sent to Phil DOL on Aug 21st, 2003 from Pittsburgh.
case# 033954**
DOT code 020.067-***

I feel strange that most cases' DOT code start with 030, but
mine is 020. Who know how the DOT code is created?

Whatz happening?

My reciept date: Dec 5th, '02

Phil recieved on Aug 11th'02

Dot code : 030-062-010

My colleague whose recipet date is dec20th, 02 got approved on Aug 26th' 03. His reciept date in philly was July 28th' 03.

I think Phily is picking up applications randomnly and it is luck whoever gets at what date. No sequence followed.



Anyhow, Phily is moving now.. Lets hope all of us get cleared in a month from now.
