My Case 03379507 had NOF and my attorney had already send the required information...AVM is not working ...So anyone have any clues.....

Yeah.. No use anyway until they do some updates on Wednessday or Thursday again !. Do you know or guess why Philly has become so slow in processing ?. Every month they are going back at least by a week or so since March

Phily DOL

Here is what the Dol has sent to my Attorney for NOF:
"We received a notice of findings from the department of labor. They are asking for a recruitment report"

The employer need to sign and send the recruitment report back to the DOL.

and in my case this was responded immediately..
I am just waiting to see what DOL does....

Ii should not be a problem with your LC as long as employer/attorney has documented recruitment effort properly. Usually employer needs to send a supporting letter, list of ad (or any other recruitment methods) and copy of print ad to satisfy DOL.

I have seen in past people getting LC approved within 10-15 days after sending satisfactory document/paper back to requesting DOL office....

It went on 08/01/02.It took 90 days.

Randomly checking the Phili AVM , I found the following:

1. The case numbers upto 03379600 are almost certified.

2. To my astonishment, a number of cases in between 03379500 and 03379600 are dated Aug 6th. This means the dates when those cases were entered into the system was random.

So folks anybody having their Case no less than 03379600, check your status via phone (AVM) or Email (LCSTATUS03@doleta.gov)

Not all Case #s are in the order of RD

AllNEW you are right, Not all Case #s are in the order of RD. Don't know the reason but it is depend on DOT code also. All IT DOT codea that I have observed are in order though.

For Example 03379750 is 08/01/02, 03379755 is 06/07/02 - Non IT. But 03379558, 03379637, 03379674 and many more are 08/02/01 IT cases are 08/02/02.


There were updated on OCT 31st and also on NOV 1st on AVM.
There are lot of cases with DOT 030.062-010 with case#s 0337955* and some of them are approved on OCT31st and some are not.

Only usnycus, dependent and needhelp1 need to get their approvals for RD 08/02/02, in our tracking list. If they get it we can assume the processing has completely moved on to 08/05/02 as we are seeing some approvals there.

Da_best & All Thread participants

I know that the list is getting bigger & bigger. When we started, we were only 10-12 people and now we have around 26 in that list waiting for LC. Most of the guy's from original list of 10-12 are done with their LC (congratulations to all of them) and only handful of people are waiting.

"Phily Thread" became one of the most informative thread because of all the members and their response. If everyone agrees I think we should keep those approved LC for at least 120 day's from the day they were added to the list. Usually DOL takes 90 day's to process application and in that way we will be keeping them for another month (30 day's) after they are approved (hopefully). It will also help us to track the time it takes at DOL and thread will be more informative.....

Please add your suggestion...and If you guy's agree add those approved LC (for July 2002) back in the list.

I get following message when I send the email with either phone no. or employer tax id: Do you know how long it takes for Philly DOL to enter my data. My file was sent to DOL from DE SESA on 10/29/02.

The case you were asking about may be older than the information maintained for status requests. Your request must be sent to the region processing your case. Other regions do not provide status. Please check the syntax of your request.

The status database is updated daily at about 5 am local time. Please do not request case status more frequently than once a day.


The syntax to request case status follows:

In the body of the message type:


Case YourCaseNumber for example:

I do not feel comfortable speaking with someone at DOL as my employer has mentioned not to call them directly. Any suggestions???
