Hey,
Guys from CA in the july2002 PD, you will get your Certification very soon. I waited for long and finally got mine last week.

I believe that PBEC is approving the CA, EB3 cases. My PD is July 31st 2002, CA, EB2 RIR. No news on my case.

Guys,

You won't believe this. A friend of mine who applied for his labor in Mar '05 got his approval today! Guess what the secret was? His case went to dbec. and here we are waiting for over 3-4 years.

Saknia,
My case is from EB2/RIR/CA/Sep 02. Take a wild guess for my case. I need to hear that things are going to get better.

done!

anyone else done this?

No 45 day letter - NON RIR PD May 2002

Hi Gurus,

To my inquiry, I have receieved a letter confirming the case no. P-05136-xxxxx and mentioned in the letter that "The application awaits processing". I have applied for NON RIR and PD May2002.

My company location was changed before this letter been received and my lazy attorney filed G-28 much late after the receipt of the letter.

My questions.
1. Is there a chance that 45 letter is missed as my company address & also attorney address is cahnged.

2. Or as the letter mentioned that the application awaits processing, they have not yet posted the 45 day letter?
3. I have got my 7th year extension and receieved it for next 3 years. Does that mean USCIS kept my case is alive and they are yet to send me 45 day letter?
4. How do I get the info. about the status of my 45 day letter? Incase if USCIS sent me 45 day letter and we missed it, then would they close my labor file? If so, how to reopen? Or as USCIS has given me 3 year extension, do I conclude that my labor case still awaits processing and they would send me 45 day letter when they start working on my file?

5. I am toying with the idea that what if I convert old labor to PERM keeping the PD? I heard some denials are there if the comapny location is changed. In my case our company location was chamged though in same city.

Appreciate your inputs.
Thanks.

From what you are saying, they have finished to enter your info completely as your case starts with "P".

You can call PBEC and ask them to verify that they have received your 45 day letter. Just do not tell them you are the beneficiary. Tell them you are your boss or somebody else as we as beneficiaries are not allowed to inquire.

Your PD should get processed in the next couple months. If I were you I would just be a little more patient.

Thanks for your advise. Can you please contact number of PBEC? Pardon for such dumb enquiry as I am new to this.

Visit to India

Friends,

I am planning to visit India during July this year and return to U.S. on August this year. I have H1B visa till SEP-30-2006 and Applied for 7th year extension. Is there any issues while traveling and entering at Port of Entry?!

Greatly appreciate your help!

One of my friends visited India in March and came back this month on 10th. His H1B visa was going to expire on 24th of April. He took all the papers including extension related, labor appl. papers, recent paystubs, letter from employer, tax returns, apt lease/utility papers etc. etc with him. But he was asked no question. One should take all papers to be on safe side.

Thx, Dhan007
