I don't believe they have published the fax numbers for these people on any website. We will have to stick to USPS mail or phone calls.

Count me in the campaign

Faxes are great but writing has more impact !

Guys lets coordinate and send our faxes and letters so that they
reach these officials on April 3/4.

EB2 Is Getting Faster Approval

imcdude said:
Yes I would be willing to fax on April 3rd.

May I suggest that we drop the EB1/2/3 detail from the draft because during the labor certification process, there is NO eb1 or eb2 or eb3. So it would be misleading if we put that in the draft letter.

You may be theoratically correct, but my observation on recent approvals says that EB2 labors are getting faster approvals than EB3.

Right now it's time for us to be united!!!

Hi Guys,
I think it's time for us(including our laywers) to file a compliant regarding the extramely low effiency at Philadelphia Backlog Elimination Center Tracking
to DOL upper management-i.e Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao
Comparing with Dallas BEC, PBEC is so bad in every aspect. We should be united together and ask our laywers to file the complaint to her.

My attroney told me that he has spoken to someone in PBEC

He told me PBEC is in great mess as of today

1- A lot of people have responsed to 45 days letter but still their cases have been closed

2-They have lost cases of some many people

3- The data entry is full of typos .....

My attroney has replied back 45 days letter on 11/05/2005 . since then they have not worked on my case at all . because in data entry they have mentioned processing type as TR instead of RIR . Thanks to this forum that i requested screenshot and i came to know about this mistake ..........

My attroney also told me that this is the biggest bullshit that they will done with everything in 18 months ..........

March is almost over now ....... and I am sure people with PD 2001 are still crying ...............

but the sad part is that pbec told my attroney that all these problems are due to their COMPUTER SOFTWARE PROBELM

SAKINA AND STRESSTESTIN U S A PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS

Current I-485 without labor

So many of us have their 485 current without having the labor..

What happens if the 485 goes beyond July 2002 to 2003 or 2004 in the next months?

There are so many people who use pre-approved labors and if our labor is not approved in the next few months... will these numbers be occupied by them? will this lead to another retrogression? people from 2003 will get 485 and GCs before 2002?

folks,

i came to know that there was a aila conference in dc on friday. one of the topics raised there was the deplorable performance of the backlog elimination centers. the following dol big shots attended the session:

john beverly (administrator, office of national programs and interim chief, dflc)
eugene caso (director, atlanta processing center)
charlene giles (director, chicago processing center)
william rabung (operations/backlog manager, dol)
melanie shay (team leader, perm, foreign labor certification, dol)
harry sheinfeld (litigation counsel, employment and training service, dol)

i hope that you all can write to your respective lawyers and ask them if they have any information about the things that were discussed.

on another thought, if anybody can get their email addresses, perhaps we should all ask them about the status of our applications.

I found the Contact info for Melanie Shay. Her number is 202-693-3010.

Success stories with PERM

Please read the success stories with PERM below, lot of cases were converted to PERM to retain old PD and many have been successful in doing so. You get your labor cleared retain the old PD and do not have to wait for BEC, believe me it is not worth reading these BEC forums...I mean it only causes grief and the wait is endless. I thought it might bring some light to the members of this forum. PERM is proven success provided you do it right. Do not waste time with BEC, better yet I-140s are also taking less time, for those of you who want H1 extns you will get 3 yrs this way!!

Good luck, I am one of the success stories with PERM myself.
