My PD is in Jul 2002 CA. More details in Signature.

Got an email from my lawyer. LC has been approved.

Here are the details:
EB2 RIR, VA
PD Date: 06/17/2002
Approval Date: 12/09/2005
Recd Approval Letter: 12/30/2005
45 Day Letter: 01/25/2005

Just cross your fingers, can't say what will happen and when will it happen :)

sp0 is correct. One of my friend also applied from VA in Dec 2004 and got his 45 Days letter in Nov 2005. It's all depending on which Box was grabbed by the data entry folks out there... Let's hope atleast they complete the full data entry by June 2006.
 
Things are moving fast......you must get your approval soon..What day in July ?

My PD is June 26,2002 (CA RIR EB3)...so I have my fingers crossed too.

My friends LC from CA which was in PBEC was approved. I dont know his exact PD but it was sometime in 2002.
My PD is June 2002. I am hoping to receive mine soon. Will let you guys know.

Mine is July 2002 also.
Seeing a lot of approvals from CA for June PD. Thats giving a lot of hope. Lets see.

Nice to see some apptoval for CA cases after long time. Congratulations and wish you all the best for your next stages.
 
Reopen LCA case

I was told my case was closed because attorney / company did not response to DOL 45 days letter. Actually both of them did not receive, at least they told me so, this letter from DOL.

My case: RIR/EB2
State: CA
PD: 12/2003
RD: 12/2004
Closing notice: 11/2005
ETA Case number: P-04324-XXXXX
BEC: Philadelphia (PBEC)

Here is a list what I will do:
1.) Request attorney to send another request to reopen my case. Even he did send mail / FedEx to DOL to try to reopen this case, but no response from DOL yet.
2.) Request Company to contact PBEC to reopen this case.
3.) Request Attorney / Company to file another H1 extension of one year. (I have passed 6 years of H1B.)
4.) Get financial promise from attorney and company. To make sure it’s not their intension to lead this case closure. Get some financial support in case I have to leave US. How much is a proper amount here?
5.) Any other thing I can do here?

As you know, at this time, any help are greatly appreciated.

Thanks to you all for supplying useful info here at the Tracker.........Seems those with PD in 2005 (like me) should not hope for anything before next year ...the way things are pogressing now.

Is is possible that these applications are under special investigations that takes much longer? Otherwise what could be the reasons? Have you guys/girls consider PERM route? Since I see quite a few approvals in the year 2002 already, those who still waiting in 2001 should be alarmed. Something is not normal.
