Hey SriKanth,
Wait for few more weeks. You'll get yours soon. Konjam poru.

you right Werner - USCISMockery is a monkey - ignore him. Ur comments about the conversion are indeed relavant to this board.

NOTHING is happening in PBEC - so what else can we post!!!

That is said, DOS is closely watching the progress of DOL backlog reduction effort. They don't know exactly when significant number of LC approvals will come not, but they expect it happened in the coming months, and thus retrogression date could be established. Once the retrogression is established, it won't be alleviated very soon.

That is the perfect reason why applicants in BEC subject to retrogression should count into this factor when deciding if PERM or not.

Given the fact that visa quota is limited, I’ll say certain degree of well-forecasted retrogression may not be totally bad for BEC sufferers with earlier PD already established. Please note, that is based on the fact that visa quota is limited, which is unlikely to be changed in the short term.

D. EMPLOYMENT VISA AVAILABILITY DURING FY-2006

The backlog reduction efforts of both Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the Department of Labor continue to result in very heavy demand for Employment-based numbers. It is anticipated that the amount of such cases will be sufficient to use all available numbers in many categories. As a result cut-off dates in the Employment Third preferency category will apply to the China, India, and Philippines chargeabilities beginning in October, and it is possible that Mexico may be added to this list. In addition, it is anticipated that heavy demand will require the establishment of a Third preference cut-off date on a Worldwide basis by December.

The amount of Employment demand for applicants from China and India is also likely to result in the oversubcription of the Employment First and Second preference categories for those chargeability areas. The establishment of such cut-off dates is expected to occur no later than December.

The level of demand in the Employment categories is expected to be far in excess of the annual limits, and once established, cut-off date meovements are likely to be slow.

really? you sure? hmm...ok let's see:

pregnancy: 1-you know what's happening in your body and can even see it in 3d. 2-you know what pain to expect and epidural is the 1st thing you will ask for even before giving the nurse your name if you are smart. 3-you know exactly how long the pregnancy will take...end result: a wonderful baby :)

dol labor: complete blackhole, no idea what's in there or what's going on, don't know how long it will take...well i guess you can take prozak for the stress...end result: a plastic card

nah, no way comparable!!!

Number of cases

Hi all,

Looks like they entered around 27,000 cases from 19-july-05 to 30-july-05 based on following case numbers

T05200-35***
D05211-62***

So total number of cases entered by both BECs partial + full = 302,000 as of 30-july-05.

Thanks fogman. Mine is EB2, non-RIR. I am hoping that EB2 does not retrogress especially since my 140 is going to be sent to Nebraska and not Vermont (which I had thought would be the case since I am in VA). Vermont is almost current on everything while Nebraska is lagging behind in many categories. Not sure what EB2 equates to- Skilled Labor or Highly-Skilled/Extra-ordinary category
That is really good news. It is enlightening for all of us. I hope to hear such good news all the time. :p

Can you share who/what state the D-05211 case came from?

BTW, I inserted the latest number into my data entry tracker and sure enough, it said abbreviated data entry would be completed by 8/15 just like you said a few days back. Let's hope we will start seeing 45-day letters again later this month once they go back to complete data entry of cases.

Congrats on all the approvals ...

I can't believe I'm still waiting .. my PD is May-2001 , EB3-Non RIR, recvd at regional in Feb-04 .... I've been checking with my lawyer but he says that he hasnt recvd anything yet ..

Anyone else whose dates are close to mine and is still waiting ???

Ask lawyer to send email to phili, requesting proof for 7th year, in the screen shot, you might find something...

It is not my intention to fight with anybody, but I want to express my support to Werner and his good intention to share with us his experience.
I don't know if I could follow his steps, but his experience can lead other members of this forum to make important decisions.

Congrats to you DCMeTRO

Was your a special case.... why i ask so is because I applied from VA in Apr2002 which was transferred to Regional in Dec2003 but I have not received my approval yet ans therefore was curious....

Neena, i bet yours is EB2/RIR case!! dcmetro is non-rir.

Hi JustWatching,

I got D05211-62*** from Dallas SWA tracker from user "DelicateOne"
This case num has PD of MAR'2005 - CA SWA case

Let me know if u have any latest temp case nums

Thanks

It mean Visa numbers available for I-485 filing under EB2 for Sept. Concurrent (140 & 485) filing can be done under EB2 category, if the labor is approved.

Well, I think this monkey is right lots of time. I am a strong supporter of Moneky. Please don't blame Monkey, he is innocent! :D ;)

i'm done ,
i've tryng to give alternatives to the good folks of this thread.
PERM, H1b1 extension, EB2/EB3 are in my opinion matters related to a unique purpose , wich is LC and permanent resident
PERM worked for me, suggest than we are "killing" the forum talking about that matters is simply bizarre.
rude comments as yours certainly will kill the forum
i'm leaving and good luck for all of you
special thanks to Juntha for his good advices

Its good that you are helping people out and I appreciate that.
However/whatever good suggestion you give doesn't matter as far as its posted in right place. An extereme example would be: Lets say I have many good suggestion about how to get rid of India's poverty but I just can't come and post it here. right ?

I come here to learn about PBEC, its action and what else we can do to solve backlog. What is PERM ? How its related to PBEC or my labor application ?
If you are on Acura TL forum you just can't come and discuss Lexus GS300, even though both are in same category. If I am happy with Lexus, I just don't go to Ford forums and start shouting.

To keep things separate and in perspective, they come up with brilliant idea called "threadS" and not "thread".

And oh yea, if you are leaving, don't advertise, just leave it. World doesn't stops at you.

GCMail, you are not worth responding. Sorry buddy.

Well, if someone whose Labor is stuck in PBEC has successfully converted his/her app to PERM or has more information about this - I want to know and I am sure that I am not the only one.

Also, this is the forum I visit almost weekly - I dont have the time to browse through the 100 other PERM related forums.

So let people decide whats relavant and whats not - and stop whining about it.
