The date of Acceptance for processing is December 2, 2002 on my NOF letter.

There is no explanation about change of PD.

Everything(occupation, Prevailing wages and other fields, etc) is filled in my screen shot on 7/13/06.

Same Story ....

I have the same story... Masters degree + 10 yrs experience. One would think that it would be easier to get GC but obviously not!

Can't get a designation change because lawayers advise against it. Can't change employer because GC is pending. Net result - stuck waiting for labor.

Today is probably the first time in last 4 years of GC process I am wondering if it is worth waiting.

I don't know about popularity.

But on NOF letter there is one setence that is

"The labor market information in the area of intended employment indicates

that there are available US workers."

The fields were also populated in May 2006?

If they were populated, that means that even if case went to region before PBEC and even if this fields are populated, there are chances of NOF.

Congrats...

I think you are lucky and you will have to file for 485 before this month end else the Visa date for Eb2 won't be current in next month. Check with your lawyer.

These days , how much time it takes to get I-140 receipt notice ?
One needs receipt notice to file for I-485 , right ?

By the way what are the 'good' I-140 & I-485 threads in this forum ,
nothing as lively as Phily BEC thread ?.

Congratulation! Finally seeing an approval after so many NOFs. Could you share some information on your case? Like occupational title and job requirement (Example: MS+0) Was the certified date June 9 or July 9? Just wondering how long will it take to receive the letter....

Unless there is a big time releif or even the abilty to file for 485 when dates are not current in next 6 months,it will not make any sense waiting for the PBEC shit to be cleared or the Nebraska/Vermont or Alaska Servicing center getting clogged..

it is total darkenss now after seeing the visa-bulletin,any change to expect in the October bulletin..??!!

I would not get my hopes to high for October.
Unless we get some relief or some bill is passed for retrogession, I think we are stuck forever!

I agree,
My friend who has been in US for 9 years, lost his job and status recently, he is going to visit Liberty devi tomorrow before returning to India for good.
Lost all hopes in this country.
