Saknia,
How are you getting info. about these labor approvals ? Looks like you have a big friend circle or you are in an attorney's office. It's good to see labors coming in, but it is disheartening to see they are still stuck in 2001-2002 while Dallas is working on 2003 Dec. It's a pain.

The easiest way to learn about approvals ... reading the other threads :) No secret knowledge or insider informations. All the approvals that we report here are posted in other threads. People just don't update the apprpriate thread all the time so others like Saknia do it for them !

On what ground, can you say that RIR cases from other states way beyond May 2002? I did't see many here?
Techguy is right there are some case which got remanded to state and went back to dol and these cases belonged to 2001 period. Nobody owes any explanation to any one. We are all frustrated. I do not think that there is any trend in which approvals are arriving so no particular state seems to have been favoured.

Eb2, RIR CA, July 2002.

There is no logically way which Philly BEC is following to approve cases.

I think they have build thier office modal around a "25 Cents gambling machine" (which you in a casino). Some people get a return in first shot, others in 5th and few others who will be playing till they get old and get bankrupt at last... same is with PBEC.

IT IS ALL LUCK......

PBEC is more like a casino.

From the statistics we get from the tracker it looks like most of the PBEC aproved cases were those move from phildelphia DOL.

And there seems to be quite a few approvals everyday from DBEC.DBEC seems to be really clearing the backlog

The person who has the answer to that questions would probably be a medium .... nobody knows how long it will take !!!

No way we can predict Number of days it can take for approval at PBEC

There is no way we can predict it. I got my 45day letter in Jan'2005 but so far no luck.

True....except the odds at the Casino are far better than at PBEC.

Most of the San francisco Regional RIR cases in BEC are from May 2002. But I beleive there are some left over cases from Dec 2001 went to Dallas and Philly. But my point is not that.

My point is PBEC is approving cases from other states way beyond May 2002. Why not San francisco Regional RIR cases?
This is by our bad luck. Few things always plays odd against me, Immigrations is one of them (Why me???)

Not to discourage newcomers but I see lot of message like "when my labor will get certified". C'mon do some homework, go through some of the post instead of just coming and asking such generic questions. There is tracker thread in this forum, go through that and determine where you stand.

Some of us even don't know (no 45 day letter) if our file is in Philly center or in Delware river, how can we guide you when you will get your approval.

Even Stephen (who is responsible for PBEC) doesn't know what to do with this mess.

Are you a native Indian by any chance?

During 1111 AD only native indians lived in this land.

Sorry. I cannot resist. It may be a default value; the person who entered your data might have missed it. Cheer up. This kind of errors are common in BEC.

No wonder why the priority dates have retrogessed!!!!!! This can only happen in this country. Even after 9/11 they are not paying attention to immigration issues.

Company acquired

Hi,

My labor is pending at the philly center with priority date August 2002. I am in my 7th year of H1B. Going to file for my 8th year extention in a couple of months. My company/employer is acquired by a new company and starting fron Jan 2006, I will be under the pay roll of the new company.

What should I do now? SHould my company old/new has to inform the USCIS/BEC regarding this change. Should I have to file a new H1B under the new company name?
While filing my 8th year extension, What should I do with my company name change?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Ramya
