Did you receive the response for your email query? or your lawyer? I sent an email 10 days ago to status@PHI.DFLC.US. But no response so far. The lawyer is unhelpful.

but the fact of the matter is that NY/NJ could be facing problems specific to these states. we are facing extensive delays ..even by ahem BEC standards !!

45 days letter enough for 7th year ext.

Hi All:

I got my screens hot and it had the Source:"State" (Should be Region)
All other information is accurate.
My application was received by the Philadelphia Regional Office on May 12 2003 (According to the old phone system).

Iam not sure if this data entry error could delay my case processing.

Should I ask my HR/Attorney to correct this error, if so how whats the best way to correct the error?

When you have 45 days letter no need screen shot for 7th year extension.
I applied 7th year extension with 45 days letter. They did not asked me any screen shot.

Who are applying for 7th year extension I believe they can show 45 days letter for LCA pending referrence.

thanks for the wishes, its EB2/RIR...did not receive 45 day letter etc, the file was rotting in CPG till 2 months back and recently moved to Phily BEC...
I had planned a 3 weeks vacation starting mid-sept and get 7'th year visa (H1 valid till Apr 05) stamped in home country, gurus what are the chances that they might look up GC status during the stamping process & reject visa?

I feel we should have a new thread for NJ and NY . I feel the scene is much different for us as compared to VA, MD and CA.
Most of us do not have 45 day letters yet.
We are getting false excitement by hearing approvals from VA and MD everyday. Our case could be entirely different

It's really an interesting phenomenon----we have started to see “final reviews” and/or “approvals” for petitioners from the states around New Jersey; i.e. NY, PA, DE, DC……I thought NJ is one of the most backlogged state that PBEC is trying to eliminate?

I am even the one from NJ who has got 45 days letter two months ago. What about all other Jersey guys/gals without 45 days letter?

the status email address does not work, the only way to get the screenshot with status is the h1b 7th year email address (check out in the sticky threads under Backlog Elimination Centers)
