Hi,
This forum had been always helpful to me. However; recently I received a letter from USCIS stating that they have transferred my case to a local NBC to schedule an interview. Here is just a timeline of my I-485 case:
06/06/2000...arrived in LAX just a few hours before I turned 21 (I was a derivative of my parents political asylum case)
07/01/2001... filed my I-485 adjustment the same time as my parents
03/01/2006... USCIS sent me a letter requesting me to file a nunc pro tunc asylum
11/01/2006.... nunc pro tunc interview
12/01/2006.... nunc pro tunc asylum was approved
04/01/2009....after 3 service requests for my case, i received a letter stating they have transferred my case to NBC for another interview...
My brother filed his I-485 on 2004 after I had filed, and he got his GC on 2006. Unfortunately, when I applied for my I-485, i was under the old law stating I had to file a nunc pro tunc asylum.
Does anyone else have the same experience as mine, or if someone has any input regarding another interview. Much help is needed. Thanks.
