I am here in US in L1B visa. I am married and my husband is also in US in L1B visa. Can I bring my parents as dependants to US for a short period of 3 months or so? Its just for visiting purpose. If so , could you please tell me what all documents are needed to apply for their visa?

For how long do you get visitor visa .. I mean the validity of the visa. I am planning to bring them around next year.. so can I apply for their visa now itself if its a visitor visa?

Is there any problem in applying for a dependant visa for them? Whats the difference in getting a visitor visa and dependant visa for my parents?

Only your spouse and kids are you dependents. You parents cannot get anything but a visitor visa. They can apply any time. B1/B2 is valid for 10 years.

oh.. thanks for the information. Can you please tell me what all documents are needed for applying for visitor visa and how early can i apply it? I am planning to bring them around next year.

You do not apply. They do. The most important thing they will need to provide is evidence of the temporary nature of their trip, and proof that they will leave the US.
