Parent Got Denied Tourist Visa at Kolkata Consulate

Hello

My parents were denied tourist visa this week at Kolkata consulate. They had 1 year visa approved earlier and had travelled to US in 2009. But when they went again for new visa this week for planning to travel to US in 2011, the officer said as you have travelled in recent past we cannot give you visa now. Please come back at a later time.

any idea why the visa was rejected....anyone in the same situation please share your experience. Also can they apply agian and after how much it is good to reapply

Try adding specific details on parents and your own situations in order to get any other than complete specualtion and guesses, not to mention biased assumptions in response to such a vague question.

Most folks will see your post and automatically assume things such as: they are trying to Live in the U.S. on a tourist visa OR you are trying to get them here so that you can naturalize and file for their adjustments, OR some other common thing.
