:confused:Hi Folks: I need ur help in very important metter: I am on F1 visa but i quit going to university cuz cant afford it anymoreand now its almost 7 moths that i didnt go to school.( technicaly out of status). my wife has applied for citizenship this month and will become citizen in near future.My question is will i get a hard time to get green card or i have to face some bar, i have also talked with one attorny and he told me as soon as ur wife becomes a citizen u will be alligible to apply for i485 form(my i130 is also appraved 2 years ago). so wot do u think?

You are not technically out of status, you ARE out of status and subject to deportation and a 3 year bar (and soon a 10 year bar). Once your wife is a citizen she can petition for these bars to be waived, but you MUST NOT LEAVE THE US UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR GREEN CARD IN HAND.
 
if you haven't left the US, there are NO bars applicable to you. SInce he had D/S in his I-94, he may not be subject to bars even if he leaves the US, but I wouldn't do that.

Sit tight, file I-485+ supporting docs+a copy of notice of approval for I-130 after your wife becomes a USC, and wait for your GC interview.
