RE: Employment Based I-485 Adjudication
After 3/9/2004 Deadline for TPS El Salvador
Dear Director Don Neufeld;
I am very pleased that you had promised to Congressional members
to significantly increase resource allocations to I-485 adjudications
after 3/9/2004 deadline for TPS El Salvador
so that the processing time for I-485 will be reduced
to 12 months or less by the end of September 2004.
However, the deadline for TPS El Salvador is almost the same excuse
as one year ago, and I-485 processing time has never been reduced
even after 3/9/2003.
Also, I-485 processing time had already reached over 25 months.
Could you please show me the specific numbers ?
1) How many officers is currently working on I-485 adjudication ?
2) How many officers will be allocated to I-485 after 3/9/2004 ?
Sincerely,
(my name)
