OC DV lottery 2024

My number has been called in the April VB, what is the process now? Just wait or should I be prepping.
We also became current in the April visa bulletin! We should receive the notification of a 2NL via email in the second half of this month, or can check the ESC page for it.

We received our 2NL today for interviewing at Sydney embassy on 21st May. Can anyone confirm if the medical can be done at any point from now until the interview?

I believe you can now. You will have to take the 2nl to the approved doctor.

FYI, in case you find yourself unable to get a medical prior to interview. I had my interview late Feb, but was unable to complete the medical prior to the interview. I took proof of my medical appointment to the interview, my case is now on hold (it shows status as denied) until the medical report comes back to the Consulate.

I’ve been in the US for around a month now and just recently got my green card delivered. Wasn’t expecting it so quickly, but definitely good to have it in my hands. My journey has officially concluded. Best of luck to everyone else on theirs!
Congratulations! Did you also receive your SSN without having to chase it down?

Should Fiji Indians be marked as Asian or Other Pacific Islander or Both? I asking the question for the Form I-485. Appreciate your response.

I have a high case number 39XX in Fiji (OC region)... Think I won't make it! Anyone else has a high case number as me?

Is a copy of my Medicare Immunisation History statement enough for proof of vaccinations? Doctors performing medical email states 'Proof of vaccination must have the date and batch number(s) with your doctor’s signature', Medicare Statement only states, Date, Immunisation and brand, no batch number or signature.

Hey, I just had my medical done on Tuesday in Melbourne. I just brought my Medicare Immunization statement and the Doctor was happy with that.

What age bracket do you fit in? I’m currently in the U.S. but I checked MyGov and Medicare plus the Australian Immunization Register and they don’t have records of my childhood vaccinations. Ugh!

I'm 45 and had no childhood records. It was a good opportunity to bring everything up to date by getting the shots, I did some before my medical and had a couple more on the day of the Medical.

Thanks - same age as me.

I've started getting the shots too. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't some mysterious Australian immunization register that I wasn't aware of LOL.

Fiji selectee numbers - my take on it as a Fijian.

2. More educated people who are willing to marry and have children creating an ideal pool of qualified entries.
is there a maximum age limit? I thought it's only minimum >18 and no maximum limit

We called the medical centre in Sydney and they said you can do a serology test on the day of the medical examination to verify what vaccinations you already have. They will then let you know after if there are any missing vaccinations from your test that are required, and you can get the shots done and send them the record after without having to do a follow up appointment.

My partner and I also have some missing vaccinations from our immunisation records and wanted to avoid getting all the shots done again if we didn’t have to.

Yes we looked into the titer test (we are already U.S. based) but it was more expensive than getting the vaccinations. One caveat they mentioned was sometimes childhood vaccinations don’t show up clearly as they were administered so many years ago (immunity would be low so to speak).

We were able to get the vaccinations covered by insurance so just opted to get them again. Unfortunate as I don’t like needles LOL.

That’s good info to know for Sydney residents though.
