NSC Approvals Tracker 9 - starting 10th July 02

I 140 APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!
My I 140 has been approved on December 11th 2002.
RFE reply received at INS Nov 27th.
my i 140 status was never updated in the system giving me nightmares until I got the good news today from my attorney!

Congratulations on your approval. Can you post your RFE details like RFE date, RFE details, RFE responded date etc.
Please also write about the no. of employees your company has

My I-140 was applied on july 18th,I got RFE on October 23rd,the RFE was about my company's ability to pay,my attorneys reply was received by INS on November 27th and approved on December 11th but it was not updated in the system.Only today I got information from the attorney that my case has been approved on december 11th.Till I heard the good news I was having unpleasant nightmares.
My company has 60 employees.Good luck to you!
 
Did your company send the prior year tax return or some other documents (W2s etc) were sent to anwer the RFE.

11/19/02 is my RD. The attorney mentioned that the RD is the ND for my case.

Strange Status Message

My 140 was approved in September 2002 without RFE and approval notice was received in early October. Today I checked the case status (both online and AVM) again, I was shocked by this very strange message (changed from previous standard approval message):

On October xx, 2002, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 210 and 240 days for us to process this kind of case. However, because preliminary processing was complete before we requested the additional material, the remaining processing time for this stage of your case is approximately 240 days. You will receive a written decision on this case.

Isn't it very strange? Got RFE response after case approval? Something must be wrong. Any ideas? Thanks for your input.

Bhagavathi, Online status is not updated correctly. But I thought phone message is updated with correct information. Did you check your status using the phone system?

In my case both online and avm were not updated till this very minute,but my attorney has the original approval notice,and my case details have been sent by INS to the NVC as I have opted for Consular processing.
Are you expecting I 140 response.Good luck to you!

it is almost morethan a wk since i visited this forum. sorry for the late reply.
I applied for EAD at INS, Indianapolis in the last wk of december 2002. i rushed-in just after i received the I485 receipt notice so that i can get it done quickly before the guys @INS, indy could change their mind and stop the local processing. :) .
by then local INS offices in other cities had already stopped the local processing of EADs.

but for the fact that u can use ur 'EAD power' a little earlier, It doesnt make any difference to do it at local INS. I will feel more comfy when I140 is approved :)

AD: 1/9
No RFE. EB3

What is your category? (EB2, EB3, RIR, non RIR etc)

Rd 11/5 and no news

EB 2 RIR @ NSC

140, 485, EAD and 131 all sent on 11/4, RD 11/5 , ND 11/26

No news yet on 140, no RFE , no queries.

and naturally no news on EAD and AP too.
 
Update

Got email from my Attorney's office:

INS Neb is processing June 2002 I-140 Case. Looks like will have to wait few more months to get approved.
