Thanks. No, there wasn't any update on 485 regarding the I-140 but we had an update on 485 a few days before that regarding receipt of our fingerprints.
Category was EB2 (Physician, non-NIW).

Can any of you tell me what your LIN Numbers
start with?I filed in Nov 2003 and my lin starts with 04*******.
Is that normal?

Yes, this is pretty normal. All cases filed after october will be considered as next fisical year so nov 2003 is 04 and likewise i filled in oct 03 but my case number has 04 so dont worry much.

Any 140 approval in Nov?????

Did any Nov filers get there 140 approvals for concurrent applications???
The last one I heard was villageMD who got approved on 20 July.
 
I updated my address few months back. My 485 was updated at that time. I recieved the address change confirmation reciept after that at my new address. I applied for EAD2 on August 12th. Then FP1 notice was issued on August 26th, 2004. But I didnt recieve it till now. Probably I think they did send it to my old address. Is there any way that we can find out where did they send my FP notice? Today I saw there is an update on my I 140 on August 30th. But the online message remain the same.
Is it normal to have updates on I 140?
Whom we can contact regarding FP notice?

Check with your attorney. USCIS should send a copy of FP notice to them as well.

As for the 140 LUD update, let's hope this is your lucky day. Keep us posted.

got fp on april 22 2004
sent may 25 2004.
EAD renewl sent yesterday as expiring on 12/22/2004

any lucks for others
 
congrats however, please share all ur case details like rd,nd, if fp done than fp date and any RFEs ? and/or update on 485 ?

AC-21 {Not Favourable Response from USCIS}

Attached is the Response which i got it from UCSIS for my letter on AC-21.They mentioned clearly , without Approved I-140 , we can't use AC-21.


This really sucks!!!!!!!!!!!
 
well now this is a disappointment but this kind of stuff really needs to be challenged be in court because it clearly goes against the main purpose of introducing the ac21 law.
 
Shanmugam, thanks for letting everyone know clearly that it is not "legally" permitted to switch jobs under AC-21 law if I-140 is pending. I appreciate your efforts.

Like me, I believe you are a sep 2003 filer too. hang in there buddy. Good times are not too far.

So far I did observe that even USCIS website shows processing date of 11th Dec 2003, many Spet 03 filers are to be processed yet but I do not see much postings from Oct 03 filers? Can anyone conclude that Oct 03 petitions are processed almost 100%?

Your opinion and feedback matters lot.

BTW I am Dec 03 filers, so long way to go.

I applied for my I-140/485 on Nov 17th, 2003 in the same packet under EB3 category. I got my first EAD and AP in Dec, 2003. I applied for my 2nd EAD on Aug 12th, 2004.
After that I was issued FP1 notice for FP on 9/14/2004.
My I 140 was updated 8/31/2004 and the message is same as of 11/17/2003.
Spouse and my 485 application status were updated about issuance of FP notices on 8/25/2004.
Later my 485 status was updated on 9/24/04 but the message was as of 8/25/04.
Now my EAD status updated today.

So Are there any guys still waiting for I-140 who filed on 11/17/2003. I am new to this forum. So I am posting in complete about my application.
