Nov/Dec concurrent filers

We did our FP on January 23. But online case status still says:
" Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on December 11, 2002. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing..."
 
EAC approved

Just found out our EAD have been approved on 03/07. No approval for I-140 yet.

Hi, Guys,

I did finger printing on 03/01
My status on 485 has been updated today. The message indicated that the report of the f/p has been received on 03/06.

My wife did f/p on same day but her status has not been changed...

update,

Got FP done on 27th feb 2003,
Filed for EAD 7th feb, INS received on 13th Feb, Now online message on 11th march says, " new card has ben ordered and will be mailed soon"
Anyone got any idea how long will it take for me to get the EAD in mail??

In my case:
February 24 - "after approving your application, we ordered you a new card."
March 5 - " This case has been approved, an approval notice was mailed."
March 7 - EAD cards were received by mail.

Online status change

The online status shows my wife's FP notice results received and processing resumed on march 14, 2003. We did FP on Feb 26, 03. My status changed on Feb 28, while hers took another 3 weeks.

I had a question to this forum. I received a second FP notice ,which says disregard if done FP over last 90 days. is it safe to disregard, as the online status has changed?

Not Approved Yet.

We both (me and spouse) got the second notice for FP after we are done w/ FP and the system is updated. I think the contractors who send out the FP notices did some kind of mistake. I just ignored them.

Congratulations on your EAD/AP approval. Mine is a EAC03087 case too and am still waiting for EAD/AP approval.

All,
VSC has updated the processing times:
AP - 2/14/03
EAD: EB2- 2/11/03; EB3- 2/10/03

Dates make no sense either with EAD/AP or I-140, as too many applicants w/ earlier NDs are still waiting.

I think we might have done our FP on the same day in Newark. My online message changed on Feb. 28th also, but, my wife's online message changed after three weeks (on Marth 14th). I also received a second FP notice two weeks ago. My lawyer told me to do the FP again, and make sure everything is right. But, I am not sure if I will take his advice and go to Newark again.

I got my FP done on 03\13\03 , and today the online status is the following message

On March 19, 2003, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review.


Is this normal message or anything wrong with my FP ?

I am little concerned about the message saying pending review ...

The online message for my wife's FP is exactly the same as yours. However, the message for my FP has show the FP result is received, and the process is resumed.

Hope someone can help us explain this...

Dec/Jan Concurrent filers

I applied I-140 in Dec 2002 and have got the Notice and I applied for I-485 in Jan 2003 and got the receipt notice and even the checks are cleared. I have FP on 4/3/03.

Sanga, I will take your advice and skip going to Newark again.

Alan, i went on Feb 26, though we were called on Feb 25... We went on Feb 25, but INS was closed early due to power failure.

I spoke to the BCIS officer and asked about the second notice. She was not helpful, only that if the notice says disregard notice ,if you have done fingerprinting within 90 days, you have the option to disregard.
