Non RIR Discussion Only !

Who should sign RRI before sending it back to BEC?
I mean should it be sent from a lawyer to the company for signature first, or it can be completed out by the lawyer only? I can't find out why mine still has not been sent yet- HR points to the lawyer but not mentioning a reason. No resumes received.

Certified finally! Precisely 4 years in Labor!

I plan to start I-140 and I-485 in 6 weeks since I'm going home in 3 weeks to renew my 9th H1B.

Should I push for Premium Processing for I-140? Does it make much difference since I am concurrently filing?

Thanks!

Congratulations !!!! erpraj & cowboy14

Can anyone of you please answer my question if you have a clue about it?

I am a new bee to this forum..Not sure about the labor certification process.
I have access to my lawyer's website to check the recent status on my labor. The latest status I have is

5/30/2007 Filed back to BEC for final approval.
5/23/2007 Recruitment Report letter and G-28 to be signed by manager sent.
5/14/2007 Signed job notice posting received.
5/14/2007 Newspaper ads received.
4/18/2007 Newspaper ad sent. Publish Dates: 4/27-29

What is next? Are they missing anything? Does anyone know how long it will take after sending Recruitment Report letter and G-28?????

Thanks

Lawyer waiting for final document letter from DOL

Hi,

My labour was filed March 2005 , Traditional Recruiting , i am on my 7th year extension, 8th year extension is filed.

In may 2007 last month around the 3rd week the ad was posted for the job in a local newspaper as per the requirements of DOL . When i see the status it says "in process".

When trying to find out from the HR and lawyer, they say they have submitted the cut-out for the ad first week of june 2007 and are waiting for the "final document letter" from DOL. Does anyone know what does that mean and how long does it take to receive this letter?
thanks much

The lawyer might mean that they have acted on the Recruitment Instructions and are waiting for the recruitment report instructions(also known as RRI) from the DOL

How much time it takes for getting it greatly varies, as some have got response in 2 to 3 weeks while some have been waiting longer and have got no response from DOL

Good Luck
