NOA Received

Does anybody know what's the number of days come from? It seems not standard, since action123 and me are both filed at CSC, hers is 365 days, but mine is 425 days. Why different? My case is very simple, I 'm single and never out of the country since I got my GC. I wonder if it's due to we belonging to different district office.

I think because I live in Sacramento county not too many immigrant live here

Amazing..
So NSC tell me that it will be 450 and tell you 180.
Amazing really..
I think it depends on country of origin plus if you answered any of the questions as YES.

Not really - it actually depends on your local DO (district office) and how their interview queue looks like. In fact, even if you clear name check and you live in an immigrant-heavy area (such as Washington DC, LA, or Atlanta), you might have to wait months for an interview date. NYC DO ironically, improved their processes and moved from being one of the slowest DOs nationally (average of 2 years for N-400 completions), to under 7 months. Service centers only release or schedule interview dates when slots are open at the local DOs. Although yours can be faster than 450, they are just using an estimate based on past years.

I agree with Lolali. It is depend on your local DO.

Lolai,
I am happy that you showed up after all.
What are you doing these days?

Hey Nimche -

To be honest, I am relaxing and not stressing about these delays. At first I was anxious and a little angry, but then "it is what it is". All the anger and stress won't speed up the process. So, I am focusing on other things - like work, graduate school, and vacation/time off.

There is no doubt that we have been 'screwed' and unfortunately we will have to suck it up.

Later bro.

Kansas City office is usually very fast. My friends and people I know received their Citiznship within 4 months on average over the last few years.
My friend applied last Dec and got his passport around May.
Well, I hope it will be faster for sure. Kansas City office is not very busy compared to others (usually)..

Speaking of knowing stuff. COuld you tell me what about San Diego office?
Are they fast? Could you look at your fotune globe and let me know?

Appreciate

Sorry man..I have no idea but hopefully some people who have experience can answer this..
Maybe you can create new topic to ask about average processing time per office..

San Diego looks like between 3 to 7 months.

I never seen in Sacramento in 3 months.
Sacramento is between 4 to 6 months.

I rather be in 4-6 months instead of 3-7 months. Because I am not very lucky so mine will be the last one. In case of San DIego 7 months and Sacramento 6 months. I kind of like it that way.
Action123, do you know how to track apps after they go to local office?

thank you

Nimche, always expect the worse..
I prepared my wife to expect the worse, so anything that happens sooner is a blessing..

I don't know how possible to track the local office. The way I know if you are a lawyer you can find it pretty easily, but for us I think a little bit tricky.

Proudpal,
There is nothing worst or best than what you think and in my case this is it. Being seperate from my wife for almost four years makes my case some sort of crazy looking.
Everybody think we have a good life, because every six months we go to europe or Asia for TWO WEEKS and see couple of countries each time. THis is our life what can be worst than this? Nothing I guess. It has good parts and bad parts like a regular life that everyone has. We both came to understand this situation better which will make our life better in the future. I hope everything will be OK soon so everybody can unite with their families.

Thank you guys for being here all the time.
