RD Dec. 5, 2001, ND Dec. 15 2001, FP notice received on March 23rd, FP scheduled for April 19th at Newark.

FP Notice Recieved 2/23/02
Scheduled for 4/19/02 @ Newark

Interesting: FP and AVM

I recieved my FP Notice on 3/19 (i put it wrong in my previous posting), checked AVM same day, but there was nothing about FP. On 3/20, i checked AVM again. and it says: FP notice is mailed on 3/20. While INS mailed FP notice on 3/13.

Conclusion: AVM messages cannot be always true.
 
Quick Question

People,
Does anyone know if the fingerpriting procedure in Newark, NJ is manual or computerized? My friend tells me that if you go via the manual route, it may take slightly longer for INS to receive the results than if you take the computerized route.
Also, is there a benefit in doing (or even a possibility to do) the FP earlier than scheduled?
