Who specifies the DOT code ?

I have a copy of my LC application (filed in august 01) and I dont see any DOT code in there. So who specifies this DOT code? and when ?

it depends on the skill sets and responsibilities you mentioned in 750 A and 750 B

check with http://online.onetcenter.org/help/online/crosswalk

with DOT Codes 030.062-010 and 030.162-014 and compare with your responsibities.,i think Mostly advocate will specify DOT Code while filing...

2 cases with DOT code of 030.062-010 get NOF

Now, I'm 100 % sure that cases filed under Software Engineer are getting NOF or RIR DENIED

Kohls,

Most of the IT cases (Software Engineer) received on 20 April got NOF

But GOOD news is that
most of the IT cases received on 21st April got APPROVAL. (Thanks to waitlisted)

I got NOF

my Software RIR case was filed 07/19/2001, after 3 years, now DOL is sending me a NOF asking why the skills I listed are required, if there are any substitutes, if there are substitutes, what they are. if there are no substitutes, explain why not.

I'm trying to write something up now. and good luck to everyone else.

You have to call NY Regional DOL office to findout your case number.

NY Regional Contact No. (212) 337 2184
Working Days : Mon/Wed/Fri
Working Hours : 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM

You have to provide your First Name, Last Name, Employer and employer contact no.

Hello Any news on Ny DOL State processing.

Guys we all i tiered of waiting in this que of 2.5 years waiting line for the labor certification.

Any news , any body who got approvals or being transfered to NY DOL Reginal after oct 2001 cases please update us .

Mine is Dec 2001.

Yes I did, that guy is very rude. He asked me if i have case#? He does not entertain if you don't have a case #?
In my case, I gave him recvd date by regional and 2 case#'s indicating that i am not sure which one is mine..and He responded that none of them match my firstname or lastname?
This puts me under more pressure ? Now what to do...My employer does not want to say what is my case # , But told me the date it was recvd and Now when i called up this phone #, it does not match??

Any suggestions??

if you have received date then check the numbers with the tracker

check what case numbers,dot codes and status associated with your employer after those dates.. i read from NJ forums ...there is a difference of couple of weeks between SESA send date and NY regional DOL date..

right now NY DOL is processing April 22nd cases .. what date you got from your employer??

Well,
I got date of may 4. But is there any other way to confirm with first and lastname that this case is indeed your case? I am very confused.
Since that phone 213-3372184..did not help that much.
I say your tracker information..that really is a good compas to get an idea in where does our stand with respect to those dates.
