Advance parole I-131

Hi All,
We finally got our adavnce parole. My wife has to stay almost 3 months abroad. We have been told by freinds that the max time is two months.
Is that correct.
In the application we wrote 3 months.

My case is in NYC now
Applied for AP. Was transferred to NYC 1+ month back
not heard from NYC so far
How long did it take to approve AP after it was transferred?
Did they call for interview?
I have urgent travel in 3rd week of June

Did you receive your AP as well through Info Pass?
My AP was transferred to NYC over a month ago
No news yet
I need to go to India for my brothers marriage
Did you have to take any supporting documentation?
Please let me know
I have scheduled an info pass on June 8th
Do you think they would give AP for myself and wife if I just
show up with Receipt notice and Transfer Notice as well as IDs?
Where should I go and enquire in FED PLAZA? Which floor?

applied EAD, AP in VSC. VSC xferred files to NYC. Upon a month, we got notice for EAD, AP. Went to Fed Plaza, we showed our Passport for AP, old EAD to get new EAD. That is it. we are out in 2 hrs. I have no idea on getting AP, EAD thru infopass.

Hi ShibuGeorge,
My I-485 was transfered but the AP was done after the transfer online. In other words I applied online on february and had the approval at the end of May.
I hope this answers your question.

Can you pls give me a little more details about
when the i-485 was transferred, when you applied for AP/EAD
when AP/EAD cases were transferred and when you got called for
interview and when the interview was scheduled?
I hope I am not bothering you too much
It is over a month since our case for AP was transferred from VSC to NYC
No news yet on the case

Our 485 got xferred in May 2004. Applied ead, ap to vsc in jan'05.
xfered in march'05. Got ead, ap in mid april'05. no interviews.

Case Update

Hey guys i had my fingerprints taken yesterday they only took fingerprints no
digital picture or signature.My interview is comming up on the 29th of this month.I hope the finger prints clear in time.
I have a question on the finger prints, to my understanding when the
finger prints are taken at the ASC they foward it electronicaly to the FBI.
The FBI looks at the finger prints verify that there is a match in there
date base ,then the information is fowarded to the immigration and naturalization service where its keyed into there database for viewing when the INS officer who interviews you.

1. There is alot of people who calls up the FBI# and were told that the information was fowarded the same day .In other words the fbi process the
info the same day and sends it back to INS." I dont think so".
I think the people who called the FBI is saying that they recieved the info
the same day from ASC (application support center).

Gurus please elaborate.

Interview Letter follow up

As you requested here are my case details :

I 140/486 RD 06/2004
I 140 AD 9/2004
I 485 TD 10/2004
2nd EAD RD March30 2005
FP Date June 14 2005
ID June 29 2005

Maybe it is a coincidence but my ID matches exactly date I would go for iEAD of not recieved one.
 
Well guys, today I got the interview letters. So, my details:

I-140 EB1, AD Nov 2002
I-485 RD Dec 2002, ND Jan 2003, TD Aug 2004
ID Jul. 2005
They attached medical forms. What is the latest opinion, should I re-take the medical? I already submitted them in 2002.
 
I went to FED PLAZA taking infopass to enquire about my AP
They approved the AP after asking me to fill out a new form as well as
an enquiry form They took new pictures from me as well
Then they gave me the AP on what looks like regular White form
with photograph stuck to it
The first time I got AP from VSC it looked much different
Is that what you always get from District Offices

hi steve

congrats and all the best on your interview i had an interview at fed plaza on may 25th i would definetly advice you to redo the medical again what if they can't find it with your file you don't want any more delays
 
Hi every body,

Finally I got the Welcome letter!
I was so suprised, since lots of people are waiting for name check much longer. I am so happy, I can go home thus July to see my parents.
