Here is the link for TSC Plastic Card Inquiry Form. Any one has waited for an extented period of time should send this form to make the Inquiry to check the status for his/her card. At INS, I was told to wait for 9 months but someone else mentioned you only need to wait 3 months. This form is specific for TSC and you will need a Acrobat Reader to print it.

To Anyone received his/her card:
please share with us about the phone message change from before card issuing and after card received.

My Case..

Till 02/01/02 automated message didn\'t even got updated my case was approved. (My case got approved on Jan 3rd). On 02/02/02 automated message changed to my case was approved. I actually got the card on 02/02/02 so my case didn\'t got updated with anything.

But like I mentioned before I given change of address during stamping and also called TSC and asked them to change address for my I-485 receipt number. I got the cards at my new address so if any of you guys changed address don\'t worry it will come properly.

Good Luck to everyone waiting.

Fax Number for Inquiry

The following was copied from INS web site

Finding the Status of Your Case:
NOTE: We prefer faxed inquiries to mailed correspondence or telephonic inquiries.

Residence and Status Services: fax (214) 767-7409

Employment Based I-485 Adjustment: fax (214) 767-7654

Family Services: fax (214) 767-7409

STATUS INQUIRIES MAY BE MAILED TO:
USINS Texas Service Center
P.O. Box 851488
Mesquite, TX 75185-1488

The Center has found through experience that faxes are the most efficient and effective method of communication. Issues can be presented succinctly. Most importantly, a fax eliminates the handling associated with the many people involved in physically receiving and directing a mailed inquiry to the proper responsible party.

Thanks

Thank you guys for the contributions and keeping this tracker alive. Here is one more addition.

However, my wife is yet to get hers (though we got our passport stamped on the same day).

FYI, we got our passport stamped in Atlanta.

Congratulations

ihdus, Congratulations! Could you share with us anything changed with TSC\'s AVM?

As to those questions, the card should be sent directly to you at your home address. Not the lawyer.

please add my info

thanks for all your info. the reason i am asking because one of my friend\'s GC was sent to his lawyer\'s office instead of his home address. very strange but it\'s true!

He should change the address

Tell your friend to file the address change form to INS. The immigration law requires green card holder to file an changing address application within 10 days with INS if he moved to a new place. Advise your friend to check with INS to see whether it has the correct address. If not, he should file a change.
