Good news. I wonder if you and your wife had the stamps given at different counters. I would foloow the online status twice a day. All the best.

This is good news. Seems like texas, memphis and atlanta are all processing plastic G.C's in 1 to 3 weeks.

bsr0130 it is very normal. Don't worry. It may take a even a week or 2 more for your wife's status to get updated. That's what happened in our case. Also yours should pretty soon within the next 3-4 days change to card mailed.

Luta like I said above it usually does not normally take more than a week between card ordered and card mailed stages.

My status is changed from "..... will mail it when ready" to " mailed on Mar 2 2004 ..... "

Which is a good sign.

(4 APs, 3 EADs)
REF: 1/7/04 (for maintaining good status)
REF sent: around 1/15/04

Approved: 1/30/04
Stamping: 2/9/04 (Atlanta. 7:30AM in 11:20AM out)
Card ordered: 2/18/04
My Card mailed: 2/23/04 (postmarked 2/21, received 2/23)
Spouse's Card mailed: 2/24/04 (postmarked 2/24, received 2/26)

We have done our stamping on 15 Jan in Houston TX. Card is not yet receieved. No Change in status.
Just wanted check any one who did passport staming around this date in Houston got their card?
 
I think Huouston,TX is taking lot of time.
Lot of ppl are waiting since Jan first week.

Finally cards are recieved

Hi

Long wait period is over.

We came to us in around end of 1997.

For some unkwown reason we did not start the immigration process.

We started immigration process somewhere in end of 2000 with "labor substitution".

The I-140 had a query for the ( lack or ) financial reports. This is because of the spelling mistake in the company name.

We did wait for a long time. My company did start the I-140 in EB2 category. Still it is not approved.and I do hit the BCIS website to check it and my boss calls the BCIS every week.

After the query was resolved in short time Sep 2001 we filed our I-485.

Long time there was no movement. and one day I talked to this lady ( at INS ) who helped me a lot by creating a fingerprint notice. We did finger prints on Dec 31 2002

Our I-485 is approved Feb 2 2004

CAred were mailed on Mar 2 2004

We recived the cards on Mar 4 2004

Generally the cards are recieved in 2 days after they are mailed.

You should get the card by Saturday ( worst case )

Byt my wife message is still "I-485 approved". Not even card ordered.
