That\'s okay, I am waiting for my turn. I just checked, and my checks aren\'t cashed yet thogh! I am a little bit concerned about that.

My application was mailed to INS on June\'19
..i got the receipt on 8/24
ND is :08/21/2001

I have to call up and find my RD?

Your receipt will have RD init. You cannot get RD from AVM, it gives only ND. You may get your RD by talking to an IIO though!

I think I am missing something here..
what is RD? What is ND?
I thought RD is when INS receives the papers..
and ND is when INS enters papers data into Computer and gives receipt notice with WAC*. So RD has to first and then comes ND...am I wrong then?

You are absolutely right.

RD is when INS receives the papers. In your case it should be 6/20(app.) and ND is when INS enters data into the system and issues Receipt (which is 8/21 as you wrote).

Now to answer your actual question... "Do I have to call up and find my RD?" my answer is "No, you don\'t have to call INS to findout RD. You can get it from the INS Receipt that has WAC number. This receipt has RD, ND specified in it".

It depends on the address you filled in I-485 form. One can fill their own address or care of address of attorney. If your address is filled, you will get them.

Just got a call from my attorney that they have received my receipts. No details yet. Would post it once I collect them.

PCee, You deserve the receipts early than anybody else

PCee,You deserve the receipts than everybody as you are putting lot of hardwork. Are you thinking of calling IIO directly and getting WAC numbers. I think you should do this now..Just advise...

Thank you for your good wishes (I think I really need them right now).

Looks like there is something wrong! My checks are not cashed yet (I just checked my bank account). I just talked to an IIO (after dialing app. for half hour continuously and waiting for just 10 minutes on line I got an IIO -that\'s not bad), but all I could find out was since my checks are not cashed yet, I don\'t have WAC number and because of that my information is not entered into the system yet, so there is nothing to check. IIO told me various probabilities of sending back my application, that\'s all.

I hope and wish I will get my receipts soon.
